♥ Chapter 4 ♥

Hanako

It's been a few days since Yashiro has rejected me..I think..she probably doesn't even like me.. but I don't care. As long as she's okay and living, I'll be happy. That's all I want...even though she's going to die soon. The thing is that..she's going to die.. really soon. Which is the following day/tomorrow. I know I said her being alive and okay would make me happy but, happiness doesn't last long. I've been knowing this.. me being happy never lasts.. and that's just how it works.

Yashiro

I haven't seen Hanako in a while. Ever since that time where he was teasing me I just..couldn't let me catch feelings for him!! I don't..I don't want him to leave me now. I want to enjoy my final days living around him..seeing him..and hanging out with him.. because I know I'm going to die soon. This is what I think everyday in class.. how I'm going to die..and when. But I'll never know, even though I've had a bad feeling this week. Maybe it's because I haven't seen Hanako..and that's why I'm going to see him today.

"Yashiro-Senpai!" Kou tries catching me in the hallway. "Kou? Are you alright?.." I turn around and look at him, why was he chasing me? " Yashiro..Would you go out with me today?" The boy blushes a little bit. I don't know what to say to him..I'm visiting Hanako today.."S-Sorry but I'm seeing Hanako right now.." I stare at the ground. "O-Oh. Alright then." I hear him walk away. Then I realize what I said. 'Sorry I'm seeing Hanako right now..' That sounds like I'm saying I'm DATING HIM. Oh god.. I'll just..tell him I'm not dating him after I see Hanako-Kun.

Hanako

Yashiro is really going to die tomorrow...or today... anytime now... that's insane..

Yasuhiro walks into the bathroom as I think about how she's going to die today. "Hanako-Kun!" She hugs me. "I've missed you..I'm so sorry for not seeing you! I'll clean the bathroom more and I'll pay back for the days I didn't come.." she let's go of me, I turn around and look at her. "It's fine Yashiro..I'm glad you came back though." I'm just so upset.."Are you okay? You don't sound as happy.."Yashiro looks up at me.

I have to do it before she dies..

I grab Yashiro's face and kiss her.

"H-Hanako.." She starts blushing.

Soon she faints on the ground,"I don't feel so good..d-did you do something to me?". I stare at her..and soon start crying. "Yashiro I.."

She closes her eyes.

She's dead.

My name is Yashiro.

I go to school..I have a few friends.

I wish I had better ankles..

I'm always getting rejected because of them.

Who am I and where am I.

What am I doing?

I open my eyes. I look around.. the room is a lavender color. A lady sits on her chair and looks down at me. I can't hear her. She's talking to another woman who's walking towards me. The lady is picking me up and bringing me to another room. Then I faint.

I wake up again. This time I can hear,"Nene Yashiro. Is that your name?"

..the purple girl who picked me up is now talking to me.

"Yes..how do you know me?.."

"Welcome home, we've been waiting for you."

I look around.. my home? What does she mean.. "what is this place?"

"Well. This is a special place..once you die. But it isn't heaven. It's for special people, like you Nene." The lavender girl puts her hand on my head and smiles. "You know the wonders of the school..yada yada.." She turns around and looks for something. "Well yes.. I do." I stare at the ground. The lavender girl shows me a photo of my great grandmother. "My Grandma?" I look at her. "Once.. there was another wonder. An eighth. No one talked about her but she did in fact exist. She helped sort things out..Kou's ancestors/family killed her though. They saw her as an evil lady sorting out plans to kill students around the school. "What does that have to do with my grandmother?" I ask her. She looks at me in the eyes," The eighth wonder was your great grandmother. That's why we sent you here, to take her place."

"Will you?"
