the files that you're holding just seconds ago are now tossed to the wall.
you run your hands frustatedly through your jet black locks. you dyed your hair some weeks ago, the same as joohyun's. it's just a coincidence. maybe.
Transferring back to Korea isn't something you had been wishing for. Thanks to your coworkers racist ass , that thought since you are Korean they should send you back.None of them wanted to transfer to another country in a month notice.
"get the hell out." you gritted your teeth when one of your collegues walk in. "hey, look at the good side. back to where you belong." Kyo says as he sit across you. This man gets on your nerve a lot.
"You should probably start packing." He added. You curse under your breath in korean. It is something you always do around here.
"you should leave." the words left your tongue, coated in venom. your eyes never left this man, glaring at his soul. He just shrugs it off like you never say a word.
"take some chill pill , yerin" he says. he never says your name correctly, it changes everytime, herin ,yerin ,erin.
"you're apart of this shit." you slump yourself against the soft cushioned chair. tired of all of this bullshit. Kyo smiles sweetly, "well, sweet talk , see you around ,maybe if i go to Korea." he added the last part with a smug face. "once your feet touch the land of Korea , i will send you right back." he laughs at your comment. "right back to hell." you added .
he shakes his head, slowly. "so polite with me , erin." he leaves , finally.
Going back to Korea? after 5 years away from that place , away from the food , away from the people , away from your old friends , away from joohyun.

the air hits your skin ever so lightly. you're lucky you never sell away your old house here. you called an agency to send their maids and cleaned it up a little. it's like how you left it. home-y and comfortable.
"it's not so bad , right?" a manly voice ring inside the house. you turn around and face the men. the three tall silhoutte step out of the darkness revealing , your friends.
before they know it, you wrap your arms around them. five years is a long time for you and even longer for them.
"i miss you guys." you said as you place bottled water infront of them. you didn't get any thing else to serve to them.
they smile , seeing how more grown up you look. maybe it's just their mind but they see the changes.
your hair that used to be shoulder-length now ends at your elbow , your light brown hair that makes you look friendly is replaced by a black as dark as midnight that makes you look like a bad bitch you are ,your face less chubbier , hightlighting your cheekbones , your doe eyes , now look more serious.
they had on a father-kind-of smile. "aish, look at our hyerin-ie all grown up." Hoseok says , admiring you. you glare, playfully. "im still the same old hyerin.it's just the hair." you run your fingers through.
"so, how are my favourite buddies doing?" you ask, leaning against the couch. they look at each other then smiles at you. "just the same. Yoongi hyung got himself a spot in a nice company so he can continue produce songs." Hoseok says looking at the blonde-male. he bleached his hair months ago so you can see his real hair colour poking from his scalp.
"i got myself a studio, started a dance class 2 years ago. it's pretty sick if you ask." Hoseok leans against the couch too with a smug face.
"Well , about me. my café is under renovation currently. It's grand opening is next month." Jin also tells his side of story.
you can't help but smile. look at them so successful, it makes you go back to high school where everything was just what you thought as pointless words. they really became what they wanted to be.
"what about you?" they ask in unison. you pout a little. what changed?
"urm well, used to work at a law firm company. you know? not a lawyer im more like the background officer. then, got transfered to Korea because they're short on staff." your story is dull and boring compared to their colourful sparkled story.
"that's not bad at all." Yoongi says furrowing his eyebrows together.
"namjoon is continuing his study at England still. Lucky to be so smart, he got a full scholarship." you add, wanting to let them know how one of your bestfriend is doing.
"thats great. so have you got yourself any man?" the question break from seokjin's lips.
man? that's what they thought you wanted even after your short relationship, business with...her.
you purse your lips.in your mind is her. her with you. her in your clothes. her eating with you. her going out with you. her spoiling you. her calling you princess. her sitting next to you. her whining at you. her kissing you. her
"earth to hyerin." a hand waves pass your face. you snapped to reality hard, like you fell from a 10- storey building.
"what?" you mutter the only words you could make up.
"erm, nevermind that. let's talk about something else."

Seoul. right where you belong , supposedly.
you let your feet takes you around the city. your work starts next week. you thought you might need all the time to clean up your house. turns out you don't.
the city feels odd. like it was a puzzle with the last piece missing.
your feet finally gave up on you. stopping at a bench, you fix your shoelaces and tighten it up.
the place seems familiar. the comfort it kind of give you. the street remind you of the feeling , anxious ?
you turns around and face the enormous building that stood out from the rest gray building with it's gold details.
'Kim Empire.'
it starts again.the flashback it's like a montage in your head, replaying.
maybe a visit wouldn't hurt,right?
