Dennis and Gael slowly walk down the stairs carrying the large canvas between them. They walk over to Davia's room and set down the painting, Dennis proceeds to opening Davia's loft door.
"Wow, she trashed the place." Gael says, taking notice of her clothes scattered throughout her room.
"Her room usually isn't this messy. She probably just couldn't pick out what to wear." Dennis says, looking around at all the clothes.
"Where do you think would be the best spot to hang this?" Gael asks, gesturing towards the painting.
Dennis looks around the room, trying to figure out the best spot for the big canvas. He stops at where Davia's dresser is, the wall above it is blank.
"How about right above her dresser." Dennis says.
"Great, let's do it." Gael says.
Dennis and Gael spend the next several minutes drilling little hooks in the wall to hang the painting. Then, they proceed to hang the canvas. Dennis steps back to admire the handy work he and Gael did.
"This is perfect, Davia will love it." Dennis smiles.
"Wait, one more thing." Gael says.
Gael grabs the tapestry he'd set on the floor by Davia's door when they brought the painting in. He places the tapestry over the painted canvas.
"There. Now, it's just like yours and it'll be even more of a reveal to her." Gael says.
"This is great. Thanks for your help, man." Dennis says.
"Happy to help." Gael smiles.
*10 PM at Night*
Alice and Davia walk in the front doors of the Coterie.
"That took way longer then expected." Davia sighed.
"At least now I can call my mom and check Instagram at the same time without my phone glitching out each time." Alice says.
"Well, I'm beat. I'm going to bed." Davia says, rubbing her eyes.
"Goodnight. Thanks again." Alice says.
"Sure. And remember, no texting Joey, your moving on. Got it?" Davia looks over at Alice.
"No texting your ex's. Got it. Goodnight." Alice says.
Davia walks into her loft, dropping her purse on the floor and shutting the door behind her. She flops down on her bed and closes her eyes. She turns her head towards the direction of where her dresser is, she opens her eyes and sees the tapestry. She slowly sits up, looking over at it. She walks over to her dresser, she carefully pulls the tapestry off the painting. Davia smiles at the painting of her and Dennis from Malika's birthday party.
