A Birthday To Remember

"Ring!!"

Mew was woken up by his phone alarm that morning. Still lazing around on his bed, Mew took his phone that was just beside his pillow, and began to reply the messages that he had received. He can't help but to smile while reading all of the birthday messages that he has received from his friends, as well as reading the tweets from his fans on Twitter.

Indeed, he is grateful and thankful to be given another year to celebrate his birthday with his loved ones. However, he was scrolling through his messages to see whether he had missed out on that person's birthday message for him. Upon clicking onto the conversation chat, only then Mew realised that Gulf did not send him any message yet.

"What was I really hoping? Yai Nong is not the type of person to wish me" Mew sighed, before putting his phone aside and heading in to the shower.

After getting ready, Mew left his house to go to the salon with Boss, for his hair cut. Everyone in the salon had wished Mew upon seeing him, and P'Chen had even surprised Mew with a cake to celebrate his birthday, as soon as he had finished his hair cut.

"P Mew, did Gulf wished you already?" Boss asked while driving the both of them to the restaurant for Mew's birthday dinner with his family.

"No.. He must be so busy today, especially with his out of town event. I am just upset that he is not even messaging me like normal days, and just go missing on me today" Mew started to complain about Gulf to Boss, while playing his mobile game.

Boss, who was listening to the complaint, just smiled widely. Boss knew that Mew is secretly hoping that his Yai Nong will wish him just like how Mew had continuously spam messaged Gulf with birthday wishes on his birthday last year. Right now, Boss also knew that Mew is definitely sulking. He can't wait to see Mew's reaction later on, before his special day ends. The birthday dinner with Mew's family went well, with presents and wishes being exchanged. As it has been a long time since Mew went for dinner with his family, he felt happy to be spending the time with his parents. Mew's mother saw how Mew have been checking his handphone from time to time, and getting anxious as the hours goes by. She definitely knew the reason behind it. And it is all because of one special person that her son is protective of.

For Mew, he is definitely feeling anxious and slightly mad, because he were scrolling through Gulf's event hashtag, and saw that Gulf was definitely having so much fun with the fans, and he had not even once wish or mention Mew's birthday in the event. He sighed.

"It is so hard to understand you at times, Gulf. Maybe I am just expecting too much from you."

The dinner ended at 10pm, and all of them made their way to Mew's parents' - including Boss.
