MINX, is that a band name?

I walked into the dorms to find quite a few people. They were looking at something. No, some one. There was two men standing on chairs. Steve Chen and Jawed Karim! They are the other founders of YouTube! What role do they play in this?!

"Alright, line up at the desk and say your YouTube name" Steve started
"Once that is done, you will get your key and room number" Jawed finished
"Don't forget that you have a roommate to share the room with"
"And have fun at YouTube university"

Once they finished up,they left and I moved out of their way. People started to line up and me being the person I am, I went to the very back of the line. I was literally last. The line moved bit by bit. While I was waiting, I looked around a little bit. I realised that there was an elevator in which people were entering. The people looked probably 24-25 ish. They also looked like professional people. You know, like people who have done you tubing before coming here for a bit. That made me realise how different I am. But everyone says ' You may only be young, but your mind is of a mature adult'. I looked ahead and moved up. There were not many people left. After a few minutes, it was my turn. There was a woman at the desk.

"YouTube name" the woman asked
"An anomaly" I answered
"Here is your key"
I grabbed the key and left the desk. Okay, room 203. I walked into the elevator and pressed 2. The elevators doors closed and I went to level 2. I wonder who my roommate is? To be honest, I make YouTube videos but I do not watch many of them. If it is someone famous, I hope I don't insult the person. I got out of the lift. Okay, looking at the room numbers, 203,203,203....203! I knocked on the door to see if anyone was already in there. The door opened to a woman looking in her twenties. At least I think she is twenty ish. She had brown hair with the front streaked with dark purple.

"Are you my new roommate?" She questioned
"That is what the key says" I said
"Come in. I have been waiting for you"
"Really?"
"Yeah, I don't do the whole 'bed claim thing'. I do that in front of people"
"I didn't realise that you were waiting for me"
I looked around the room. It had two queen size beds with a table side at each bed. There were two desks and chairs with bookshelves at the side. There were also two closets and last but not least, a window that faced some flat ground with a white, hammock love seat. It was a big room overall.

"Can I ask you something?" The woman wondered
"Sure" I responded
"How old are you?"
"Please don't be put off when I say it because everyone does that to me"
"Oh...ok?"
"I am 15"
"Why would I be put off by that?"
"Because this is a place that has the word university"
"That's true I guess, I didn't know that they let kids in"
"I am the only kid apparently"
"Oh, well that means you're a smart kid"
"Maybe... I'm sorry, I am horrible when it comes to socialising"
"That's okay, many people are like that"
"I guess...again, so sorry, what's your name?"
"People call me Minx"
"Minx, is that a band name?"
"That would be awesome, I would so listen to their music if they were real but no. What about you? What's your name?"
"I'm Ana, or you can call me An anomaly"
"Interesting YouTube name, why that name?"
"Things"
"Right"
I walked the room a bit. I thought about where to claim.
"Minx?" I called
"Yes Ana?"
"Can I claim here?"
"Of course, Girls are respectable like that unlike boys"
"Well that could be true"

I claimed the right side of the room. I placed my bags on my bed and began to unpack them. Minx did the same a few moments later. I put my clothes on the racks and my shoes on the bottom of the closet. I placed my Pjs and slippers on the end of my bed. I got out my camera set and placed the camera on the top shelf and the tripod at the side of my desk. I got the rest of my possessions sorted including a lot of USBs. Once that was done I placed my bags under the bed. Minx finished as well.

"Now we just have to wait for the stationary and the other goodies" I announced
"Awesome, so you know how things work here with food?"
"Yep, just swipe the student card once it gets here because the food is free during breakfast, lunch and Dinner"
"And?"
"We have a vote on dinner on the weekends"
"Correct. Hang on, what subjects do you have?"
I showed her my schedule and she compared it with her schedule. I turned out that I am in her Gaming and VT lesson. VT stands for Video Time. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it in case it's the people giving us the goodies" Minx spoke
She opened the door and came back with two big boxes. They looked heavy and Minx was carrying them slowly.
"Can I help you?" I replied
Minx nodded in response and I lifted the top box with ease. We placed them on the ground and sat down.
"Let's see what inside" Minx smiled

We opened our boxes at the same time. The first thing I saw was the music book. There was some stationary too. Apart from that, there was also a laptop, a backpack and my student card. Minx got the laptop, back pack, her student card and stationary. The only difference was that she had another item. It was the game UNO. It had a note stuck to it. The note read 'Have fun playing this game with your roommate'.
"We have a game" I cheered
"Yay! So we don't get bored" Minx played along
"I'm hungry"
"You need to wait till we can eat"
"I can wait"
"Good girl"

We both giggled. We decided to set up our new products in the room and I felt so tired that I laid on the bed. There was a reason to be tired. It turned out to be 6 at night. Minx got up and pulled me off the bed. Apparently we could go and eat. Yay! At least I met my roommate today. Minx looks to be a nice person with a good heart.
