Captain Kaizo x Ireen - one shot

Worry

It was a tiring day.

Cleaning up the whole spaceship took them almost a day to get it done.

Fang was back to his room, with an excuse to rest. While Lahap went to the pantry to get some refreshment.

Ireen was hanging out on the roof, watching the sun set in peace with a tin of coke in her hand. Her fingers picked at each other.

The sound of the door opened caught her ears as her eyes caught the duck-butt hair peeking out from it. The owner has been looking left and right, as if looking for something, and not wanting to make himself looks like a fool, she whistled.

Kaizo turned and looked upward, where he found his target.

Easily jumped onto the roof, he walked to her side. His gaze fell downwards as she watched the female drink her coke.

"Something is bothering you", a statement rather than a question.

"No... I don't."

"You are drinking coke."

"Feeling like it."

"You only drink it if you have problem."

"Sometimes I drink it for fun," she shrugged.

"Not if you pick your nails until it breaks."

Ireen was stunned. She brought her fingers to her face, only to realize that indeed her captain was right.

She sighed while combing her hair backwards.

"What do you need captain?"

"To inform you we will have a mission soon and needed to report ourselves to commander."

"You could have just contact me through my watch."

"....  I'm just feeling like walking around a bit", he too, shrugged. His gaze turned to the sky as he watched it shifted colour from orange to purple. Soon it will be dark blue indicating the night has fall but the best thing is that somehow the cloud will be visible and emitting green turquoise colour tonight. It is indeed a rare sight.

Kaizo bet that's the reason she is out here, for such colour is her favorites.

"So, what's troubling you?"

"Nothing captain." She finished her drink before crumpled the can.

"It's an order. Not a request".

Sighing, the female harshly tugged her hair downwards. "Captain, do you know that sometimes there are just things you can't force out of a woman? Can't you let it go when I said -"

"It's about Boboiboy right?"

It got the female stunt. Her face flushed before she scoffed and turned away. "Was it that obvious?" A low mutter came out from her mouth.

"Not really. I just give a guess. Didn't expect it to be right."

"You trapped me??!!" She faked gasp with her fingers brought to her lips in a shock gesture.

"So? What's with the boy? Still not gonna tell me?"

"Pahhh!! I'm just missing him okay? And a bit of worry... He said he's getting stress lately. And I'm not there to support him", she confessed. Her legs were brought up and she dropped her chin on her knees, hugging them. "What if he lose control of his power again like last time? I am scared of losing him..."

"He is old enough to take care of himself."

"He is still too young for all this..."

"And you are not?" Once again, the female was shocked ad she turned her face slowly.
