Guardian angels. Ethereal beings of the heavens and earth. Watchers of mortal beings, protectors of realms, pure and mysterious entities. I know is that everyone has a guardian angel. From the atheists to religious crackheads. Some stay in their invisible spirt form. Others come in a human form. What type of figure they took didn't matter. All that DID matter was that they did their job. That being guiding and of course, protecting mortals.

In the enchanting cloudy heavens, a new angel sent to the earth. Azazel Di'angelo. A baby faced teenager who had finished his training, ready to find his assigned human. His pale fingers fidgeting with his halo. Yes. A halo. Angels still kept their halos on earth but of course it wouldn't be levitating on their heads. Some kept them as gold rings, earrings, bracelets, chokers- Where were we? Ah yes, Azazel. He was quite nervous to go.

His eyes fluttered shut, cold breaths leaving his lips as he shifted in his spot. Swaying back and forth on his heels, he waited in line to get his human. It took a few minutes to finally get to the front desk. Showing a hesitant smile though it looked more like a grimace, he waited for his file.

The woman behind the glass panned through her papers. She pulled out a . The papers were burnt and crumpled. Azazel froze, examining the messy papers. He grabbed it with a frown. The angel looked at the woman and back at the papers. She shrugged, going back to her files. "We had trouble locating the file. Now scram."

Sighing, he walked away from the desk. Yeah... thrown around is an understatement. Azazel opened the file after hesitation. His face turned into a frown as he continued to read. A shy nervous angel paired up with an obnoxious loud girl? This would be 100% fine. Mhm, totally...

"Damian, socialize tonight. Oliver, no screaming. Liana, be nice." Maria, their mother, huffs.

Her hands resting on her polka dot apron around her waist. Her were eyes narrowed and showed a glimmer of strictness. It was definitely a look her kids inherited. A loud beep screech from the kitchen making her sigh. The mother held up her spatula with menace making the three sibling grimaced.

"He'll be here soon so sober up!" She storms off into the kitchen. Most likely cooking the last bits of the giant dinner.

Liana looks up at her oldest brother. She followed him back upstairs to the hallway where their rooms were. Pajamas weren't ideal for having guests. Definitely not. "Who's coming?"

Damian looked at his younger sister with a eye roll. He opened his door while speaking.

"Azazel, he's an exchange student at Oliver's school. We're his host family." Slam! And his door was shut, he'd probably never come out until dinner. Liana stood in the hallway, flinching slightly at the loud slam. Frowning, she went into her room to get changed.

Azazel shifted on the front door step. The black heavy suitcase in his gloved hands. A frustrated sigh left his lips as he reached to ring the doorbell. The angel retracted his hand and turned around. His eyes looking everywhere but the home. Dammit...

"HI!" The door swung open making Azazel spin around with a jolt. Standing in the doorway was Tiffany, the other mother of the Chase household. She was semi formally dressed and a huge grin was on her face. Clapping her hands once she spoke again. "I'm Tiffany! Are you Azazel?"
