Getting supplies

I walked up the stairs and went through my duffel bag.

I pulled out my white ripped skinny jeans and my grey hoodie from American eagle.

I grabbed my blood red tank top that loosens when it goes down. In black graffiti it says bite me and there are white fangs under the words.

I took off my shorts and shirt and put my out fit on. I grabbed my chocker that is black and has a red rose on it.

I clasped it around my neck and went to look for my white and red chucks. They still look brand new.

I grabbed my white iPhone and my smiley faced earphones and walked out my room

I jogged down the stairs and out the door to my moms red ford that was parked in the drive way.

I got in the passenger seat waiting for my mom to lock the door and enter the car.

I waited until I heard the car's engine purr to life.

I pressed the button for the radio.

It started to play this weird hippy song. So I changed the station and stopped when I heard the song she doesn't mind by Paul something.

I started to sing the lyrics. The song ended and after came call me maybe by Carly Rae jepson. I pulled a disguised face and changed the station.

I was going through the stations trying to find some descent music but only had commercials.

I opened the compartment and got a cd. I put it in and pressed the button.

The white tie affair starts playing through the speakers.

I started to sing with the song when mom pulled over into a parking lot.

She took the keys out and stepped out of the car.

I opened my door and stepped out too.

We were in front of Home Depot.

We entered the store with the automatic doors closing behind us.

We went to the paint section.

"Mom what color should I paint my room." I asked her while looking at the paint colors.

She looked at all the colors,

"Why don't you get your favorite color. Isn't it blue?"

She questioned.

We were confronted by a man in a orange vest that has the words home depot.

He was wearing a navy shirt underneath. With black skinny jeans. He is wearing blue and white high top Nike shoes. He looks about 17-18. He has sandy blonde hair. He's about 6 ft tall.

"Do you ladies need any help." He asked politely.

We stared at him for a second than looked at each other. "Mom do we need any help." I asked not knowing if she wants help or not.

"Hmm," she thought looking into space.

"We'll I don't know do you need any help Kat." She asked me. I was about to shake my head when she snaps her fingers.

"Oh yes we need help. I was wondering what color is better red or blue." She asked the boy.

He looked at her than at me than looked diagonally up and put his fingers on his chin thinking.

He looked at me than said,

"I think royal blue looks good. What about you kat." He asked using my nickname.

"I think that is a good color but I still like red." I told them truthfully.

"Yea your right."he said with a smile."By the way I'm nick, if you need any help call me." He said before walking away.

"Ok thank you." My mom said loud enough to his retreating back.

"Ok now you need to pick a color."she said while looking at the colors.

I put my hand on my chin and started to stroke my fake beard.

" Hmmm I think I'm going to get sea blue for the walls and midnight blue for the ceiling. Ohh if I get white I can decorate the ceiling with stars. Do you think that will look nice?" I asked mom while twirling the end of my imaginary beard.

"Ooh that sounds nice. I wonder what your room will look like when you finish." She said looking thoughtful probably thinking about what my room will look like.

"Ok well I'll call nick over. NICK!" I shouted. I heard a thump than saw nick pop his head from behind the table. He started to rub his head with an annoyed face. I gave him an innocent look.

"We know what we want to get now." I said with an evil smirk on my face.

He looked at me oddly."why are you looking at me like that." He said looking at me like I was weird, which I am.

I looked at my mom at the same time she looked at me. We burst into laughter. Nick just kept looking at us oddly. He looked kind of irritated he probably thinks we're laughing at him.
