"No Y/N, you're not coming." Dean said sternly, furrowing his brow.

"But this hunt is important! You need me." You shouted nasally, you'd had a cold with a killer headache since last night, but that wasn't stopping you from hunting.

"Sorry Y/N but I'm going to have to agree with Dean on this one." Sam added concernedly as he held a hand up to your forehead. You were burning up.

"Fine, whatever." You shouted before climbing back into bed and throwing the covers over your head. You were honestly too tired to argue anyway.

"Bye Y/N. Love you." You heard Dean mumble as he shut the door to your room, leaving for the hunt.

DEAN'S POV

As I drove home back towards the bunker with Sam, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

Was is it just the absence of Y/N's presence? Or had she gotten worse while we were out?

I drove faster as my concern increased until we arrived at the bunker. I called out her name, receiving no answer.

I almost started to panic before I remembered that she was probably asleep.

Smiling, I quietly padded into her room, Expecting to see her sprawled across the bed, how she typically slept when I wasn't around to
hold her.

But as I flipped on the light, my face fell. The bed was neatly made with a small envelope perched up against a pillow.

The breath in my throat hitched. Y/N never made her bed. I snatched the envelope off of the pillow and tore it open.

"Fuck." I whispered, covering my mouth in disbelief. The envelope contained a single photo of Y/N.

She was bound with ropes and a stern expression was set on her face. I knew her, she was too brave to cry around the demons smiling wickedly behind her.

Scribbled on the back of the paper were several numbers. Coordinates, I realized.

"Sammy!" I shouted, tears brimming at my eyes. Before he could even respond I grabbed him and jumped in the impala. I wouldn't rest until we found Y/N.

As the days went by I grew more terrified. The only thing that lead me to believe that Y/N was alive were the gruesome pictures left for me at different coordinates by the demons.

I had no choice but to play their little game until I could gather enough information on where they were keeping her.

I arrived at the latest coordinates, finding the picture hung on the wall of an abandoned shack.

This was by far the worst. They had Y/N, my Y/N bruised and bloody. There was a knife in her thigh and a smothered look of fear in her eyes.

The demon behind her grinned sadistically as he twirled a piece of her gorgeous Y/C hair around his finger. He wasn't allowed to touch her like that. I was the only one allowed to touch her.

Barely able to stifle my anger, I slammed the door to the impala and headed towards the next coordinates. I hadn't so much as slept in days. But I couldn't, not when she needed me.

I found one more picture after this, I decided to only look at the back in fear of what they might've done to my Y/N. But along with the coordinates, written on the back of the photograph was "Come alone."

I knew I needed Sammy, and I knew it was trap, but I wasn't risking losing Y/N. So I went alone.

YOUR POV

After days without a wink of sleep and only enough food to keep me alive, you didn't know how much longer you could do this.

Tears threatened to spill as you wished for Dean to come charging through the warehouse doors and save you. But even if he did, there were too many demons. He couldn't possibly fend them off on his own or with Sam. You were doomed.

As you felt like giving up, falling surrender to the blood loss and lack of food, you heard a noise. Dean's voice. He came running towards you as fast as he could.

You screamed out in terror; you shook your head, begging him to stop and turn around. He looked at you in shock and confusion, and as if on queue, demons ran towards him in all directions.

Dean looked towards the demons in a kind of rage that you had never seen in him before. With cold, dead eyes he slaughtered every demon until you could hardly recognize their vessels as humans.

From your bindings across the warehouse, you stared at Dean, your mouth agape at what he was capable of.

As he neared you, you looked at him bewilderedly while he undid the ropes around you. He cupped your face which caused you to flinch involuntarily.

You didn't want to be scared of Dean, but after seeing what he could do you could barely look at him.

"Oh, babe I-" He stopped short and stood up, scratching the back of his head. "Well uh, let's go."

You looked towards him in guilt and began to stand up, only to slump against him.
"I uh-," you mumbled before falling unconscious.

Dean carries you to the impala. He quietly let tears slide down his face on the way home. He almost lost you once, and telling by the fear in your eyes when you looked at him, he was about to lose you again.

By the time you woke up, you were back in your bed at the bunker. You sighed weakly in relief and rolled over to see Dean laying on the floor sleeping beside you.

You swallowed and bit your lip, eventually deciding to wake him up. "Dean" you whispered, nudging his shoulder lightly.

"Hey Y/N" he replied in his gruff voice before smiling shyly."

"Come here." You smiled, trying your best not to seem guilty. Dean's face brightened significantly as he crawled into bed and gently pulled you into his arms.

"I love you." You whispered while nuzzling into his chest. It was your way of apologizing without confronting the issue, it was a tactic both of you used often. But it worked for Dean. He knew that he hadn't lost you and it was comforting as things got.

You spent the rest of the day engulfed in his arms. Stealing occasional kissing from one another. Both of you just relieved to be together again.
