Frisk walked out into the crisp, night air. She shivered. Should've brought a jacket, she thought. But she was content to get away from all the racket in her little home. She walked along the streets, noticing how deserted they were. Huh. Guess humans aren't used to monsters yet. But, then again, it had only been 3 months.

"Boo!"

"Eek!" Frisk jumped and turned around. "Ch-chara! I told you to not do that!"

He laughed and wiped a tear from his eye. "But it's *laughter* it's too funny!"

Frisk huffed. "Well, I don't think so. I swear, Chara, one day, you're gonna give me PTSD."

This made Chara laughed even harder. He doubled over, struggling to breathe.

"Chara!" Frisk scowled.

"S-sorry, Frisk, but *inhale* it's just your face!" he laughed again, before regaining his composure.

Frisk continued walking, and Chara walked with her by her side. He handed her a sweater. Blue , with purple stripes. "Here. Mom wouldn't want you to catch a cold."

She took it gratefully and slipped it on. "Brrr- thanks."

The two continued to walk in a companiable silence. Chara, however, kept glancing at Frisk in a weird way.

She caught her glance and smiled at him. "What's up?"

He quickly looked away, blushing. "N-nothing."

She shrugged. "You can tell me, you know."

"It's really nothing!"

Frisk studied Chara's face. "You're cheeks are redder than usual."

This made Chara blush even harder. "I..."

Frisk grinned. "Ooh! I know! Are you in loooove with someone?"

"Geez, Frisk! I told you, it's nothing!" But after a moment, he resigned. "Well, maybe I do, maybe I don't. So what if I like someone?"

Frisk thought hard about it. There was no one else around them... there was no way he would like any of her friends...  Chara never really interacted with any other humans-or monsters-so that leaves with...

"Do you like me?"

Chara thought his face couldn't turn any redder. "W-what?!"

"You said you liked someone. Do you like me?"

"N-no! Why would you think that?"

"Because your face is really red."

He shook his head. "No, I don't like you, Frisk. I-I mean, I still like you as a friend, but... just... you know..."

She nodded. "Okay, then."

They continued walking until they reached a dead end. Then they turned around and started to go back. A particularly cold breeze blew, and Frisk shivered uncontrollably. "S-so c-c-cold..." she hugged Chara's arm, relaxing at his warmth.

Chara couldn't hold it in anymore. "FRISKIREALLYLIKEYOUOKAYIHOPEYOURENOTOFFENDEDITSJUSTTHATYOURESUPERCUTEANDALLANDICANTHELPIT!"

Frisk blinked. "So... you do like me."

Chara was proven wrong. He blushed the hardest in his life. "Y-yeah!"

Frisk giggled. "You sound just like Alphys." Then she kissed Chara on the cheek. "Truth be told, Chara, I... I also like you."

"Oh... well. I should've confessed sooner, then."

She grinned. "Yeah. You want to talk about it more at home?"

He nodded. "Yeah."
