A/N By the way, it's night now.
Chara held the door open. "After you, m'lady."
Frisk giggled. "Thank you."
Chara bowed. "Anything for you."
Asgore noticed all the commotion. "Heehee. You two remind me of me and Tori back in the days. I still remember-" he stopped when Toriel shot daggers at him.
"Don't push your luck, you miserable creature." Asgore hung his head in defeat. "I..."
The two furry boss monsters had gotten back together, but... let's just say that they're not on the best terms yet.
"Don't be so harsh on Dad, Mom!" Asriel chided. "Can't you see he's trying?"
Toriel had a glint pf sympathy in her eyes, but only for a moment. "Tell that to the six children he killed."
Asriel rolled his eyes. "Mom!"
"It is quite late, my children," Toriel said, changing the topic. "You should get some rest."
Sans' bones creaked. "i couldn't agree more. come on, paps, let's get back home."
"Brother, all you do is lay around the whole day! How can you possibly be tired?"
Sans winked. "oh, nothing you should be worried about, paps."
Papyrus sighed. "Very well, Sans." The two skeleton brothers walked out of the door.
"I s-suppose we s-should get going t-too, right, Undyne?" Alphys stammered.
"Yeah! Oh, and, uh, thanks for the food, Toriel."
Toriel smiled. "Anytime, Undyne." And they walked out the door as well.
There was a awkward silence. "Uhh... should I say something?" Asgore said, but shut up again when Toriel gave him the look again.
"Come on, Frisk, let's go." Frisk followed Chara upstairs. A loud yell, followed by a whimper, could be heard from downstairs.
"Do you think... do you think that Dad and Mom will ever be the same again?" Frisk asked.
Chara stroked his chin. "Well, based on the current situations, no." He held up a hand when Frisk opened her mouth. "I'm not saying that it's impossible, though. They probably just need time."
Frisk nodded. "Yeah, you're probably right."
The two quickly changed into their pajamas. Frisk turned the light off. "Goodnight, Chara."
"Goodnight, my dear Frisk."
"Oh, Chara!"
He smirked. "Can't blame it on me. Who was the one who flirted with a 2,000-year-old goat?"
Frisk chuckled. "Well, I suppose."
Fatigue started taking over Chara. He yawned. "Let's get some sleep."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frisk woke up in the middle of the night. She checked the clock. 12:47 A.M. It was still midnight. She laid in bed with her eyes open, staring at the ceiling. Then, she thought she saw a figure in her peripheral vision. She turned, but there was nothing. Huh. And then she realized how cold it was. She pulled her sheet all the way, but she still felt the chill.
She walked over to Chara's bed. Hoping not to wake him, she quietly got into his bed and pulled the sheets up to the chin. Aah... he was so warm... Not realizing it, she hugged him.
Chara blinked. "Wha-?"
Frisk quickly retracted her arms. "Oh! Chara! Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you... It was cold..."
He smiled, and gently patted her head. "Aww, it's okay." He scooted over to make more room for her. "Here, you can sleep in my bed."
Frisk's face lit up, and leaned in, kissing Chara on the cheek. He gasped, holding where Frisk had kissed him. "F-frisk..."
She yet again embraced him, burying her face into his chest. "I love you, Chara..."
He smiled, and returned the hug. "I... I love you, too, Frisk."
And the two fell asleep in each other's embrace.
A/N Sorry for the late update ! ;-; Had some stuff to take care of. Needed more sleep, too. But don't worry! I'm fine now!... kind of. Anyways, I'll try to update more often! Bye!
