Broken Promises

New School

I heard Chelsea by The Summer Set coming from my phone. "UGH!" I turn off my alarm then get out of bed.

I took a shower and dried of my body and hair. I put on this outfit : http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=141700026 and then did my hair and makeup. I grabbed my phone and bag then walked down to the kitchen. I put my stuff down on the table and went to cook me eggs and Bacon. I cooked it and ate them. Then I grabbed my stuff and my car keys and ran to my black mustang convertible. I threw my stuff in the car and drove off to school. The kids at the school were starting to crowd around this car that pulled in beside me. I got out and kids scoffed at me then turned back to the 4 boys stepped out. They looked at me and rolled their eyes.

I just grabbed my stuff and walked into the school. It's hard when you have to move in the middle of winter. My mom and her new abusive husband made me move out on my 16th birthday last year. My birthday is on christmas eve. Some people say i look like Lily collins but i have jet black hair and blue eyes though. Anyways, I walk into the school and go to the office to get my locker number&combination and my schedule. There was a woman in her early 30's typing away at her computer. I cleared my throat and she looked up at me. "Oh sorry sweetheart, What's your first and last name?" I looked at the doorway and the blonde from the car beside me was walking into the office.

"It's Raven Hawthorne." She smiled at me and the blonde just laughed at me.

She gave me my locker stuff and my schedule then i was off to find my locker. While i was walking down the hallway people were glaring at me and saying mean things to me. I thought to myself, 'What did I do to you? You don't even know me!' I found my locker and the red haired boy that stepped out of the car along with the brown curly hair one and the black haired one was standing in front of my locker. I walked over to them, "Could you please move? Your standing in front of my locker." They laughed and walked away.

I opened my locker and put my stuff in there while getting my things i needed for the rest of the day out. Someone put their hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw a girl that looked like vanessa hudgens smiling at me. "Hey I'm Jes." She hugged me like we have been friends since we were little.

I shyly hugged her back and pulled back. "I'm Raven. Do you know where Mr. Black's history class is?" She smiled huge.

"Yeah, that's my first class. Let me see your schedule." I handed her my schedule. "We have all the same classes together except last period." I smiled, at least i would have one new friend.

I took a look at my schedule, this is what i had:

1st period: History Teacher: Mr. Sirius Black

2nd period: Math Teacher: Ms. Kim Blues

3rd period: GYM Teahcer: Mr. Daniel Dune

4th period: English Teacher: Ms. Wendie Potter

5th period: FREE PERIOD

6th period: ART Teacher: Ms. Terrisa Hart

7th period: Music Teacher: Mr. Kevin Rein

I'm so glad that i have music for the last period of the day. I finally took a look at Jes and realized that she had a long sleeve sweater that didn't cover her shoulders (That sweater was purple) then she had on white skinny jeans and those boots that a eskimo would wear. She looked really pretty. "Raven? Hello?" She was waving her hand in front of my face as i was staring at the wall.

"Sorry, just thinking." I followed her to our first period.

When I got in there I saw the seat by the window wasn't taken so I hurried to that seat and sat down. I put my stuff down then Jes came in with a couple of girls. She sat down next to me and the other girls sat in front of her and I. "The girl sitting in front of you is Nicky," Nicky had brown hair and grey eyes. "And the girl sitting in front of me is Roxanne but she perfers Roxy." Roxy had blonde hair and green eyes like emeralds. "Guys this is Raven. She's gonna be with us for the next 2 years!" They squealed.
