Carolyn continued to walk toward the boxes I was hiding behind, until she was standing right in front of me. I tried to stop shaking in fear, but my body wouldn't let me. The closer that they got to me, the colder the air around me started to feel. I didn't really care about that though, because I was about to get caught.

Please don't find me. Please don't find me, I thought. I shut my eyes and stayed still. I heard them stop walking and they were right in front of me. One of the others pulled away the boxes with little to no effort. I looked up at them and it was everyone that I had met earlier, including Rachel, who immediately recognized me.

"Hector?" she exclaimed. She and the the others continued to look at me.

I was so in shock that I couldn't even say any words. Rachel was a devil? And so we're the rest of them? They picked me up and sat me down on one of the couches. Once I finally collected myself, I spoke up.

"What in God's name is going on?" I shouted.

"You're quite a nosey kid, aren't you?" Carolyn said.

"Rachel, what is going on?" I asked her looking absolutely terrified.

Rachel looked upset and had tears in her eyes. I started to feel bad for her, but I wasn't sure why she was crying to begin with.

"I'm so sorry, Hector," Rachel says while crying. "I never meant for you to see this."

"But you invited me here," I said.

"I know," Rachel says still crying. "You just didn't tell me that you were coming by today. If I had known then you wouldn't have seen this."

"I decided to come by during my final class," I say trying to make her feel better. "But now I'm wondering, why did I come here, and what is going on!"

"Perhaps I can explain," Carolyn says as she steps in front of Rachel. "This club is just cover for our real purpose. We are all devils, and I am their leader, Carolyn Reaper."

She shows her devil wings to me and I have no idea what to say.

"Why?" I manage to spot out.

"Why what?" Carolyn replies.

"Why and how are you devils?" I ask in fear. "I thought that devils didn't exist."

"Well, as you can clearly see, that is not true." Carolyn says. "I was assigned to come to the human world to find out where our enemy has been hiding."

"So, did they come with you?" I ask as I look at the others, who still had there hoods on.

"No." Carolyn replies. "I actually came here on my own, but I needed help to make sure I wasn't discovered by the enemy. So I searched for anyone that was willing to join my team and turned the into devils."

"You turned them into devils!" I shouted in shock.

My mouth was then covered by Rachel's hand to keep me from talking.

"Not so loud," Rachel whispered.

She took her hand off my face so that I could speak again.

"To answer your question, yes, I turned them into devils, but it was their decision." Carolyn said. "I did not force them into it. Isn't that right, guys?"

All the others take their hoods off and nod their heads, yes.

"And as a bonus, when they were reborn as devils, they unlocked their secret powers that were deep inside of them." Carolyn said as she made a purple flame appear in her hand.

"Powers?" I said confused. "What kind of powers?"

Carolyn smirks and starts to back away from me.
