Patchot POV
"WHAA-" I woke up and I was panting.
"Urgh Patchot! What's wrong with you?!?" I kept going wild because I remembered the time I said 'I Love You' to Ivan.
I stood up but I'm still angry at myself. "Come on! What were you thinking?" I faced palm myself many times. "You're so stupid! You're so crazy!" I took my basketball toy and shoot it on the basket. "Bad trip! Bad trip! It can't be Patchot! It can't be!" I faced the door and realized that Dad was there.
"Oh Dad! Dad partner!" I greeted him.
"Patchot hurry! Move it! We're going to be late! It can't be. It can't be late!" After Dad said that, I quickly went in the bathroom and took a fast shower.
I fixed myself for 5 minutes and went outside to find Dad drinking a cup of coffee.
"We're going to be late again!" Dad said while circling around.
"Dad partner! There you are." I took my hat off and wore it to my Dad. "Okay I'm done! I finished in exactly 5 minutes. No extensions."He took off the hat and placed it on my head.
"Let's go!" He said with a cheerful voice.
I wore the hat backwards and Dad noticed it. "Why do you wear it that way? This looks better than you!" He took off my hat and placed it on my head in front. "No Dad! This is better!" I returned the original position of the hat. "Not like that! Like this!" He adjusted it again. "Please. This is okay." I returned it backwards again.
"Fine let's go. Your Uncle Conde is waiting."

We went in our roasting house. I got my apron on and started to get to work.
"No, no, no" I heard Dad say to two ladies.
"Oh come on King! It will be good for your business to cater the hair and makeup competition. It will be a waste if you turned it down. You guys make the best roasted pig." The lady said.
He scratched his temples. "Look, I'm not interested in that frivolous contest."
Uncle Conde went to Dad and heard the deal. "King...that's big." Uncle said.
"What is big?" Dad asked.
"The money we will earn from that event." Uncle finished.
Uncle faced the lady. "Ma'am? The even is in May right?" The lady nod. "Don't worry, I'll take care of this. I'll convince my brother. Consider it a 'yes'!"
After a few minutes, my nephew was rushing inside with a laptop on his hands. "It's Auntie!" He declared so we came near him. "Is that Auntie Queenie?" I asked.
We circled around to see our Auntie.
"Patchot! You're a lady now!" Auntie said from the laptop.
"Lady? You mean a gentleman! Look at her armpit hair!" Godon my cousin, raised my hand but I quickly covered my armpit. "Hey stop it!" I said.
"Auntie! Is Angel there?" Godon asked.
"Angel? She's out. But she's excited to go there to Cebu!" Auntie answered.
"Auntie don't forget my shoes!"
"Auntie my chocolates!"
My other cousins requested some things.
"Where's Bibap?" Auntie asked.
"Hold on. Here he is." Dad said and grabbed Bibap near the laptop.
"Auntie don't forget my chocolates!" Bibap said while being lifted by my cousins.

Laviña POV
'Hair na me, kaya gaganda you'
I was inside Auntie Baby's and Auntie Gwen's salon to hot oil my hair until I heard some commotion coming from Auntie Gwen, Ivan's mom, from the other side.
"What hairstyle do you want?" She asked to Jen.
Jen is the girl that Ivan was courting for a few weeks by now.
"The kind...that will make me more beautiful!" She said in between her sobs.
"Wow, you want to show off or something?" Barbie, the cashier of the parlor said.
"Sweetie, don't cry. Remember, for every tear drop, you get a wrinkle!" Auntie Gwen comforted Jen. "But don't you worry, we are always 'hair' for you. Tell me, who's the boy who made you cry?" Auntie Gwen asked.
"Your son Ivan! He told me that he will stop courting me. He had my hopes up!" Jen kept crying.
"Well, I'll give you a free haircut. Jolina!" Auntie Gwen called an employee. "Yes?"
"Give her a calming back massage." Auntie Gwen ordered.
As soon as everything sink down on what their conversation is about, I did a little fist pump. "Yes!" I said to myself.
"I'll be back! I'll pay later." I said to the cashier and run off.
"Hey where are you going! Don't try to ditch us again!" Barbie said.

Patchot POV
Laviña came inside the roasting station looking like a crazy girl. "Hey girl!" She greeted me.
"What?" I asked.
"It's official! Ivan and Jen are done!"
I wondered a little. "Did they ever became a couple?"
"You know the thing. Now it's your chance! You're second chance!" Laviña squealed.
I didn't mind about what she said so I continued to chop some roasted pigs.
"Um...aren't you happy? Or even relieved?" She asked.
"What do you want me to do? That I should celebrate every time Ivan gets tired from a girl?"
"Duh of course!" Laviña wiped her sweat. "Because you love him!"
Uncle Conde heard what Laviña said. "What? Patchot's in love!?"
"Uncle King! Patchot loves someone!" Godon said.
"Um no no no. I'm saying that I love my hot oil so much that it's gonna get wasted if it gets smoked. C'mon Patchot!" Laviña grabbed me and pulled me to her while running away.
