The Goonies [Chunk Sister]

Ch.13

"Close the door." Data said as we put the body back in.

"Mikey, come on." Brand said.

"The fireplace, Brand. It's the only way out. You guys'll never get out that way." Mikey said to Brand.

I looked at Brand he looked back and then at Mikey "What?"

"It all starts here." Mikey stated.

They all head over to the fireplace.

"I'll go first then Andi, Then Mouth." Brand mentions and he went down helping Andi then Mouth start climbing down the vertical shaft. Stef, Data, and I helped Mikey get down I soon got down almost tripping but Mouth caught me by my waist.Chunk is still in the freezer with the body.

"You okay?" He asked I nodded.

"Where's my brother?" I asked.

"Oh no..." Mikey said.

I put my hand on my forehead trying not to freak out.

"Shut up!" The mom yells walking in, notices the broken glass from the cooler "Somebody's been here. The cooler's broken." She said.

"Probably a tremor."

"Go check your brother."

"Well, well, it could've been a tremor, Ma."

"I'll show you a tremor!" I heard a slap sounding like he's been hit.

"Ooh!" I heard fake sobbing "I'm going to go check my brother."

"He better not have broken those chains again. I'm not going back to the zoo for another set."

"Ma, just don't upset him."

"Hurry up!"

Chunk sneezes as Mama Fratelli walks by the freezer.

"Gesundheit."

You could hear footsteps leaving the room.

A much-relieved Chunk finally opens the freezer door and leaves. Brand summons him from the fireplace.

"It's cold." Chunk suddenly said.

I stood up on something to see more clearly above the fire place as I see Chunk.

"Chunk!" Both Brand and I whisper shouted.

"Huh?" He said confused.

"Chunk, over here." Brand said.

"Get over here!" Mikey said.

"What are you doing down there?" He said as he came to us.

"Go get the police." Brand said.

"Chunk, we're in some serious sh*t here. You've gotta get the police. Look behind you." Mikey said.

"Please." I said looking at him.

Chunk steps back. A broom falls over, revealing a window!

"Oh, the window. Go out the window." Brand said.

Chunk opens the window and starts climbing. Brand, Mikey and Desire climb back down the shaft to the others.

"Did you see him, guys?" Data asks.

"Wait a minute. Where's Chunk?" Mouth asks.

"He went to go to the police." Brand said.

"The Fratellis are there. We gotta go. Come on, guys." Mikey said.

"Let's go." Brand said.

"He's going to get the police. Go. Move. Move." Mikey ushered us.

Our group of seven have been making their way down the dark tunnel, looking for a way out.
