Chapter 2 (old)

A moon later:
I dodge his swipes and slide under his belly pawing at his stomach as if my claws where out. He moves his back paw and holds me down.
"Too slow lightningpaw" falconstar coos as i wriggle away.
"I cant get the move correct" i hiss scraping the ground.
"It takes time" he mews "but for now lets practice hunting"
"But i want to get the move correct!" I mew upset.
"In time lightningpaw" he flicks his ear "show me your hunting crouch"
I drop down, my belly on just touching the ground, my tail still. Falconstar nods and sniffs the air.
"I want you to stalk that magpie over there" he whispers flicking his tail in the direction of the bird. I creep towards it. The magpie flutters it wings and looks around. I hide behind a bush and then leap at it. My claws scape its back but it flys away.
"Mousedung!" I hiss hanging my head
"Don't worry" falconstar mews putting his tail on my shoulder "magpies are hard to catch... But lets get back to camp, you must be tired"
'Im really not' i think the huff "ok" and i follow him through the woods.
"Where have you been?!" Tigerpaw mews tackling me purring. He is now bigger than me.
I push him away "i was training"
"Oh" his tail dropps "i was cleaning out the elders den"
"Sucks for you" i laugh headbutting him.
Bloodstripe leads falconstar to his den and whispers something to him.
I yawn and pad towards my den, tigerpaw following me. I lie down in my nest and close my eyes trying to fall asleep. Suddenly sleep hits me and i awake in a dream. I leap at a mouse but it fades in my claws. I race in the sun lit pine forest. My paws splash in a crystal clear stream. As i jeep running the stream grows dirtier. The forest grows darker and more swampy. A heavy weight pushes me down. All i can see is a pair of amber eyes. The stranger takes a step back. His pelt is a dark grey with lighter stripes and he is almost completely see through.
"I was expecting you" he huffs his voice cruel.
My eyes widen "who-who are you?"
"Darkstripe" he hisses "iv been waiting for you lightningpaw... Now lets get this training started" he grins
