leslie and natalia excitedly got out of their parents car, their parents laughing at the amount of excitement that came off of the two.
"please, text us when you leave and when you get there!" natalias mom told shouted as natalia shut the door to the car. her mom rolled the window down, her dad did the same with his window. "have fun." she grabbed natalias face and kissed her forehead, natalias dad doing the same to leslie.
natalia went to her dads side and leslie went to natalias moms side, the same affectionate gestures being given to both girls. they waved at their parents and made their way towards the entrance of the school, natalia rubbing her palms together.
"i'm so excited!" she shouted, her eyes widening at how loud she was.
today, gradnite was taking place. gradnite is an event where the seniors are able to take a trip to an amusement park, six flags in this case, and they spend the whole night there with the amusement park only being open to other partnered high schools.
they were suppose to leave at six, but with the searches going on before students loaded the busses, then they'd probably leave at seven. natalia looked through the sea of seniors, trying to find alejandro. she looked where other classmates were lined up and seen him waving at her, natalia pulling leslie towards their friends.
