Eddie didn't go to the Saturday concert, he stayed back with mike and they packed up the necessities Eddie needed in a suitcase. Like clothes and toiletries, they'd mail the rest to Derry. Eddie decided. He's going to tell his mom he's moving out. You ARE legally allowed to move out past 16.
So after he and mike made two suitcases, (eddie would have to finish the tour with them) they drove to Joyce's store. Eddie was happy to see her and told her what was happening. She sighed and gave the boy a hug, "I'll send over Jane and will to help, Jonathan will help mail."
Eddie thanked her and ran into Nancy on their way out, they had bought a bunch of boxes.
Eddie hugged Nancy and she said she'd send mike over to help.

Eddie walked shakily down the hall to his mothers room and took a breath before knocking.
"Mommy?"
"Come in eddie bear. What do you need?"
"I'm moving to New York on Monday so by August I'm settled in and I am ready for college, get a job and a place and-"
"You want to leave me?" Her voice fake wavered. She was going to start the guilt. "Eddie bear-"
"Mom im leaving. I'm sorry..I love you but..I'll do online school and finish out senior year that way."
Eddie left the room and his mom started to wail.

Mike (hanlon)had to go the venue before the band itself was on. So Eddie, Wheeler, will, and Jane packed up his room. The boxes would go to wills house and they'd be mailed over to him by the end of March, that's when they move and the tour ends mid March.

Eddie teared up as the last of his desk was put in a box. Jane and will went to take some boxes down to the car, they lost track of time and it was dark, there was only furniture left at this point and he looked around his empty room.
"I'll miss you eddie.."
"I'll miss you mike." Eddie smiled at him.
Mike shyly leaned down and hugged the small boy. He'd really miss eddie, but then the door opened and Richie stomped over to Eddie and threw his arm around him, pulling him a step back from mike. A tense smile on his face
"You must be frogface, jeez. I see it don't you Eds?" Richie seethed
"Oh nonono" mike laughed.
"Hm?"
"I don't like Eddie, Richie. Don't worry."
The rest of the band came in followed by will and Jane.
"Hi I'm will." Will smiled holding a hand out to richie and tucking himself under mikes arm.
"Oh- I'm so-"
"Stupid." Jane muttered when something fell out of her pocket.
"Yup. That's the word" Bev laughed.
