Eddie sighed and stared at the millions of notifications on his phone. They were at the bowling alley before the Sunday concert, an hour to spare before they're needed there.
"What's wrong?" Stan asked eddie sitting next to him
"What if dating me ruins the band..?" Eddie asked as Richie yelled at Bev who was laughing and bill and Ben were cheering in victory, Eddie turned and smiled softly. "I don't want to hurt your guys' success."
Stan punched Eddies arm, and not like a soft punch. That shit hurted.
"What the fuck-" Eddie clutched his arm and groaned in pain.
"Edward Kaspbrak you listen here. Richard Wentworth Tozier is so in love with you it's fucking disgusting. And we all love you just as much, just in a different way. And if that's an issue to the company or the fans, that Richie is in love, then we'll go back to being a garage band. We aren't in this for fame or money. We're just a bunch of kids who happened to make it big and here we are."
Eddie hugged Stan. The pressure on his shoulders lifting.
"Hey buzz kills, come play." Richie hollered.
