Honeymoon (Part 2)

Hey guys long time no see! I'm so sorry it's been so long! And bare with me I'm updating this on my phone because my laptop won't work .-. Picture has nothing to do with the story it's just cute lol

It was the second day of their honeymoon, they toured the city and took in the beautiful sights. Eddie felt out of place in a way, he wasn't used to a place like this. He wore his usual gray sweatshirt, others passed dressed in bright colors. The streets were loud, almost so loud it hurt Eddie's ears.

Suddenly Eddie's heart lurched, pain went through his chest. His breathing picked up, palms becoming sweaty.

Eddie? Venom asked with a worried tone.

"I-I'm fine" Eddie replied but the confusion could be heard in his answer. What was that?

They decided to end their sightseeing early and went back to the hotel. The room was still a mess from the night before.

Venom could feel the worry that loomed over Eddie as he sat down on the bed.

Eddie talk to me.

"I guess everything was just too much today." Eddie sighed. Eddie could tell by Venoms silence that he was waiting for him to continue.

"I-I just get anxious sometimes and everything is overwhelming." Venom materialized beside Eddie on the bed.

I will always be here for you Eddie. Even if I don't understand it, I will help you through it. You are not alone anymore.

Eddie smiled at him with tears forming in his eyes.

"I love you so much."

I love you Eddie. Always.

Eddie rested his hand on Venoms face pulling him closer.

"I didn't think I could ever love someone again. Especially not this much."

Do you love me more than you loved her?

Eddie pulled back a little bit with a stunted expression.

"What? Why would you ask that?" Eddie's tone shifted to annoyance.

Answer the question Eddie.

"No I'm not answering that. You don't just ask people that." Eddie huffed.

Do you still love her?

Eddie sighed heavily, he rubbed his eyes. This is not how he imagine their honeymoon going.

"Does it matter how I felt about her? Does it matter how much I loved her? I loved her a lot, I was going to marry her. But I didn't, I married you. You V, not her. I love you, I'm going to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm going to wake up next to you every morning and go to bed with you every night. There's no reason to feel threatened by my past with her."

Threatened? I wasn't threatened. Eddie knew Venom well enough to know that was a lie.

"I said all that and that's all you caught? I'm going to bed V." Eddie rolled his eyes and laid back on the bed.

Eddie.

Eddie sat up due to sad tone that his name came with. V had tears forming in his eyes.

I am sorry. I should be happy to have you now. I shouldn't worry about your past.

Eddie grabbed Venom's hands.

"V, you may not be my first but you are my last and I will never regret that. I am yours and you are mine."

I am yours. You are mine. Venom repeated the sentence relaxing his nerves. He never felt this way before. Insecurities and anxieties. Not until Eddie.

Eddie made him feel wanted. Something he had never experienced.

Eddie wanted him. And he wouldn't forget it.
