Kyungsoo was sat with Jongin outside of Ezra's office. He was tapping his leg anxiously as they waited for Chanyeol and Baekhyun to come out. Ezra explained everything to the two about being soulmates with a human. It had its risks and was extremely rare. The last known case of this happening was hundreds of years ago, maybe even thousands. Kyungsoo, although not much for physical affection, was squeezing Jongin's hand. The door opened and the two walked out. Baekhyun still looked glossy eyed, showing he hadn't yet come down from his feeding high, common for humans. Kyungsoo immediately stood up and grabbed his friend. "What happened? Is everything okay? What did Ezra say?" Kyungsoo's questions came out at rapid fire, words spitting like a machine gun. Chanyeol pulled Baekhyun back a little bit so he wouldn't be overwhelmed and faint or something.
"Ah, well, this has happened before, but Ezra said it's very rare and hasn't happened in years." Chanyeol explained.
"Did he say anything about the risks held or if anything will happen to the school?" Jongin asked, pulling Kyungsoo back to calm him down. Ezra poked his head out of his office and looked at the four.
"Chanyeol, take him to the bathhouse. Jongin, Kyungsoo. I need you two in here." Chanyeol nodded and walked with Baekhyun, taking him to the bathhouse. Kyungsoo watched as his friend was led away. He was nervous for him and he wondered if he'd be alright.
"Ezra," Kyungsoo spoke up as they stepped into the office. "Is Baekhyun gonna be alright? He seemed really dazed." Ezra waved his hand.
"It's common for humans to become like that after they've been used for the first time. The water at the bathhouse will help him come to his senses." He explained, taking a seat at his desk. Jongin and Kyungsoo sat down as well.

Chanyeol helped Baekhyun undress and helped him into the cloudy lavender waters. Baekhyun took a deep breath and leaned back, taking in the warmth from the water and the overwhelming scent of lavender and other florals. He was silent, which signified he was coming back to his senses. Chanyeol sat to the side and patiently waited. He mumbled their traditional prayer for the bathhouse, basically giving thanks to their goddesses for the water.

"I wanted to know if you two had any recent developments or found out anything new about your families and such." Ezra asked. Kyungsoo looked at Jongin, a little upset.
"I thought you told him already." He hissed in a whisper-like tone. Jongin's eyes widened and he shook his head. He looked like a child being scolded by a parent. Kyungsoo sighed heavily and rubbed his temples. He turned his attention back to Ezra and began explaining. "Well, yes, we have. Our bloodlines had rare magickal...uh, talent for lack of better word. I don't know exactly what they were but no one else had the type of magick they used or had so...I guess it was only in our families. We were hoping you'd have some input on this." Ezra nodded in response as he listened. He hummed in reply. He opened a drawer on his desk and rummaged around, mumbling to himself as he searched for a book on magick and powers vampires have been recorded to have or had. Ezra placed the heavy looking leather bound book on his desk and began flipping through.
"Oh look at that," a small smile appeared on his face. "How did I miss this." He turned the book towards them and pointed out where the information about their bloodlines' powers and magick were.

The passage read:
"The Kim family were a lineage of great and powerful elemental mages. They were most notable for their control of the four main elements, earth, water, air, and fire. In one instance, Kim Sungho, the first recorded member of the Kim clan once saved a coastal city in Korea from wildfires and tsunamis. The Kim family are most known for their control of natural disasters and healing with natural medicines.
The Do family were a lineage of powerful necromancers. They were notable for their fiery anger against enemies as well as their nurturing caretaking side. During wars, the Do family would fight side by side with the Kim family. The usage of necromancy was useful in wars. They were known for helping restore nature and certain lives as well as ending things they felt were not needed in the world."

Kyungsoo looked at Ezra when he finished reading. "That's...that's quite a bit of information to take in." He said, clearly overwhelmed with the new knowledge of powers and magick. Jongin furrowed his brows.
"Wait...I thought magick was out ruled and made illegal to use by the high council. What are we supposed to do with this information? I doubt either of us would be able to relearn all this." Jongin rambled. Ezra nodded.
"You're right but there is talk of making magick legal again. The high council reconvened and discussed this at the last meeting. There will be another this coming week. I was going to mention it to you two and ask if you would want to come. They had all been wanting to meet you both." The headmaster explained.
"High council? Would it even be okay for me to go? I mean...it's only been three months since I've been here." Kyungsoo was worried and very nervous. Ezra couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.
"No, Kyungsoo don't worry about that. They all agreed to be able to allow you two to attend. They actually expect you to." Ezra said gently. Kyungsoo wrung his hands and nodded. He looked over at Jongin who shrugged indifferently, not really caring about whether or not they would go. Ezra would, after all, tell them everything that happened.
"Sure. I'm okay with anything." Jongin said simply.
"Then it's settled," Ezra smiled. "We'll attend the high council session next week. I'll send you a list of what to take and what to wear." He dismissed the two after their little meeting.

Chanyeol helped Baekhyun to the guest house and lay him down on a bed, making sure to cover him so he was warm. Baekhyun settled into the plush mattress and fell asleep almost instantaneously. Chanyeol sighed heavily and sat himself in the chair beside the bed. He was a bit upset with himself for getting them both into a mess. He was more worried for the human rather than his self. Ezra knocked on the door and poked his head in. "How is he doing?" He asked.
"Good, I think. He fell asleep right away." Chanyeol replied. Ezra took a seat parallel to the tall male and sighed.
"Chanyeol," he began. "Is this what you want? Pursue this relationship with a human, I mean." Ezra's voice was cautious and he picked every word carefully. "You do know the risks, right? You know the responsibility and the effects." Chanyeol nodded and sighed.
"Yes, I know and I have thought about it. I decided I'm willing to risk this and keep the bond I have with him. I don't want to wait forever, Ezra. It's been almost 18 years and I still haven't been matched. He has a tattoo and it's the twin to my mark. I don't know if it's coincidence or if the Fates are playing a joke on me but I don't want to lose him."
"Okay, Chanyeol. I understand," Ezra's expression softened. "I'll be attending a high council session next week and I'll have to tell them about this. They're more than understanding about situations like this and will be able to help teach you about this." He nodded simply and got up, ready to take his leave. "He will need to spend the night here. You can stay with him tonight but he will have to return home tomorrow." Chanyeol nodded and flashed a soft smile at him as a thanks. Ezra turned and left without another word. He had much to prepare for and immediately started right away.
