Runaway Luna Queen

Chapter 4

Jesse's POV

As I was sitting there trying to find the words to tell them why I did what I did, so I decided just to rip the band aid off and tell them why I had to run my mate. " Look I'm not going to apologize about what I did. I did what I had to do so I could have the life I wanted, and wouldn't you want your Luna Queen be able to defend herself, or would you want a Luna Queen that you have to worry about when she's not around her mate." I said gaging their reactions, before adding. " And I was also a sniper. The farthest I can shoot is four miles, working on five." I finished waiting for Nick to answer me.

" Your right you did what you had to do. I shouldn't have decided your life, because if I hadn't decided how your life was going to be I wouldn't have lost eleven years of being with you." Nick said looking at me with so much regret in his eye's. Looking into his eye's I started to feel bad for making him feel bad, so I wanted to make him feel better.

" Hey look on the bright side we are still young, and have all the time in the world to make up for the eleven years, and we still talked on the phone, at least we had something when we weren't together, and I wouldn't have seen a lot of you the four years when you were a marine." I said for him to start feeling better, and not feel regret.

" Your right we do, and even though I'm going to be worried sick you still can keep being a firefighter paramedic." Nick said before Mark added. " Why don't we join with her, after we are firefighters and paramedics to."

I was stunned for the second time again that evening. " What, when, why." I asked trying to find the right words, but I clearly didn't. " Well it was another thing I wanted to, but Mark and I, and some other werewolves from my pack could only volunteer, since we didn't know what the future held for us, and our cards are still up to date to."  Nick said before adding. " But we'll talk about that later, Mark you can go back to the hotel I want to talk with Jesse alone.

Mark didn't say anything just shook his head, and got up went to walk out the door.

As soon as Mark left Nick came and sat down next to me and when I say sat down next me. I mean sitting so close to me where we could kiss. " It is so hard for me not to just take you and claim you." Nick said as his eye's were switching from brown to black, but you could see one emotion that was clear as day. Love and lust, well two emotions.

I would be lying if I said that I didn't feel anything, but when I opened that door all I wanted to do was jump him, and it was hard not to with every second, and minute that went by, and that's why Nick made Mark leave. So I decided to throw caution to wind, and do something that I've been wanting to do since the day I ran away. Even though I was mad at my mate, there was still the mate bond that was pulling us together, and everytime I talked to him his voice got me so hot, and now that he is here next to me I might as well have some fun.

It may not work between us, because he could change his mind, and try and stop me from being a firefighter, and I'll have to run again. I don't know, but at least we'll have tonight if we don't work out.

As I was thinking I didn't notice Nick started to lean towards me before stopping, and looking at me to make sure it's ok if he kisses me.

I didn't say anything I just closed the distance, and kissed Nick.

Kissing Nick for the first time, and oddly enough it was my first kiss. Yes I know I'm 28 and it's my first kiss, well since Nick is my mate no other caught my attention.

Anyway kissing Nick for the first time was amazing. Just from us kissing I could feel wonderful sparks flowing between us, it was like the mate bond was flowing right through us connecting us the more we kissed.

While we were kissing Nick licked my lip asking for entrance, but I wanted to have a little fun, and make him work for it. But Nick didn't want any of that, because he trailed his hand down my back to my butt and gave it a little squeeze, and even though I had a feeling he was going to that I still ended up gasping, and in turn causing Nick's tongue to have access to the inside of my mouth.

And boy that just made our kiss even more amazing. Soon enough our kiss turned into a make out session, and I soon found myself straddling Nick's lap.

We pulled away because Nick and I had to catch our breath, but he wasn't done with me just yet because his lips met  mine again, but he didn't stay there long because he started to kiss me down my neck, and when he found a certain spot on my neck I moaned, but it wasn't a loud moan though.

I knew he heard me because I felt him smile against my neck. So he decided to have a little fun by kissing, sucking, and nibbling that certain spot. All the while driving me over the edge.

Who would have thought with just a kiss would make me feel the way I do. But I guess that's the perks you get with being mated to a werewolf, your bodies are just in tuned with each other.

" Jesse can I please mark you, I don't think I can wait any longer." Nick said sounding like he's having a hard time holding him, and his wolf back.

I didn't need to think because I already made my decision the minute I called him two times in a day, and told him where he could find me. And even though I don't know what will happen with us in the future, but all I do know is that I do want to be with Nick for the rest of my life.

" Then mark me."

Was all I said before I felt Nick's fangs elongate, and and puncture my skin.

At first it hurt, but then it was replaced with such intense pleasure, that I felt something warm pool between my legs.

When he was done marking me he pulled his fangs out, and licked up the left over blood. After coming down from the pleasure I felt I started to feel tired.

" Sleep baby ." Was all Nick had to say before I let the darkness take over, but not before hearing three little words come from Nick's mouth.

" I Love You."
