Chapter 1

Jesse POV

2009

Right now I'm standing in my room on my last night of freedom. Why you may ask is it the last night of my freedom.

1994

I'm running around with my brothers, at this party because some wolf boy is having his first shift, and the Alpha King is throwing a party to celebrate his son's first shift. I may be 3 but I am up to date on what werewolves are, and what shifting is. " Come back here." I yelled to my twin brothers Tyler, and Taylor who took my stuff wolf toy that daddy gave to me when I was born. As I was running I ran into another body blocking my way from getting to my brothers. " Oh sorry I didn't mean to run into you." I said getting a look at who I ran into. " It's cool I'm trying to hide from my mom and dad anyway." The boy said looking around.

"Oh well I'm chasing my brothers they took my stuff wolf my daddy gave to me." I said trying to get around the boy. "Wait." The boy said grabbing a hold of my hand, and as he did I felt sparks, and I'm sure he did to because he was smiling. "Why don't I help you get your toy back." The boy said smiling at me. "Ok." I said before the boy and I took off the way my brothers went.

When the boy and I finally made it out of the crowed I saw my brothers running around my dad, and throwing my wolf back and forth to each other. "Daddy they took my wolf." I said when I ran to where my dad was standing. "Boys give your sister back her wolf, you boys got your own." My dad said gently, but firmly so they know he's serious. "Fine." Both my brothers said while they gave me back my wolf.

"Jesse who's you little friend?" My dad said looking at the little boy holding my hand. "I don't know daddy I ran into him, and he offered to help me get my toy back." I said hugging my stuff wolf. "I'm Nick Carmine sir the wolf prince I'm hiding from my mom and dad, and who are you sir." The boy said looking around to make sure his parents weren't around. "Jeff Biggs her father, and son I'm sure your parents are worried about you, why don't I take you back to them." My dad said taking the boys hand. Not the one that was holding my hand. "Jesse and boys form a line, and don't let go I don't want to lose any of you." My dad said starting to lead us through the crowed.

When we made our way through the crowed I saw a man an woman looking around frantically. "Sir I believe this may be yours." My dad said showing the boy he was holding by the left hand. "Oh my god son you scared me to death, where were you." The father said with a lot of relief in his face.  "I was trying to hide from you guys, because I just wanted it to be us when I first shift not all these people, but when I was trying to find a hiding place, I smelt something wonderful, chocolate and strawberries coming from this girl, and I like the sparks when we hold hands." Nick said showing me to his parents.

The look on their face look worried and happy at the same time. "Son can you stay right there while we talk to this nice man."

2009

That night it turned out I was the wolf princes mate, but since it was to soon for us to be anything they had to send me away so I could be safe, and the day after I graduate from high school the now Alpha King can reclaim me, and tomorrow is the day I'm being reclaimed. I have dreams, and one of them is not to be mated to some wolf. Especially the King I'm not royalty I'm a country girl. And what are my dreams you may ask. Well I want to be the first female Navy Seal, and then after become a firefighter paramedic.

As I was packing my bags I heard a knock at my door. " How you doing baby girl." My dad said coming into my room. " You know how I'm doing." I said trying not to cry. " Well what would you say that I had a plan all this time, and you can have your dreams." My dad said smiling at me. " Well I would say let's do it, and what are the plans, but I'm not holding my breath." I said pausing to look at my dad.

My father Jeff Biggs a Navy Seal, and he 's on leave so he can help me get everything together before my werewolf mate comes and reclaims me.

" Well good news for you, because ever since I found out about you being the wolf princes or should I say king now I've been planning on how I'm going to get you out of this situation." My dad said smiling to me. " Your serious." I asked a little stunned. " Very now get your stuff packed we are leaving." My dad said walking out of my room.

And that's how I got my life back. After I packed everything we left that night to our new life never to be seen again. Hopefully.
