The Trip

Today is the day we fly to England! I had packed last night so I just had to grab my suitcase and go. I couldn't be more nervous! Everyone in the cast is so famous but no ones ever heard of Valerie Rhodes and we would be on a nine hour flight together! I pull on a pair of black leggings and a grey shirt with black 3/4 sleeves. I put on dark eyeshadow and bright red lipstick. I put on my eyeliner and mascara as well. I pulled my long brown hair into a messy bun and grabbed my combat boots, my bright red purse, pulled on my black leather jacket, and ran to my car. I got to the airport at 9:43am, so I had about two early. I wandered around for a while until I saw Aaron sitting in Starbucks. I walked over to him and sat beside him.
"You look hot today!" Said Aaron, immediately smirking at me. I looked at him. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans.
"You too, Tveit." I said smiling back.
"So are you excited for today?" He asked.
"Yeah, but I feel like once the rest of the cast gets here, you'll all be swarmed by fans and no one will notice me" I confessed. Just as I finished saying how I felt a girl, probably about 14 walked up to us.
"Excuse me, are you Aaron Tveit?" She asked nervously.
"I am! What can I do for you?" He replied nicely.
"Could you take a picture with me?" She asked.
"Sure!" He laughed. They took the picture, then she thanked him. Just as she was about to leave, she look at me.
"See what I meant?' I teased him.
"Wait, aren't you Valerie Rhodes?" She said.
"Yeah! You've heard of me?" I said stunned.
"I saw you in Wicked last summer!" She exclaimed.
"Oh wow! I loved being in that!" Aaron, the girl and I talked for a while, and I took a picture with her. After she left Aaron smirked at me again.
"You were in Wicked?" He said, somewhat stunned.
"Yeah I played Galinda!" I explained. We talked about Wicked for a while then we sat in silence for a few minutes. Almost no one was around. I was so mesmerized by his blue eyes, I didn't even notice we were holding hands from across the table.
"So I guess the rest of the cast will be here soon." He said, glancing at his phone.
"Yeah..." I said, sounding a little too disappointed by that.
"Well before they get here, let's just enjoy ourselves!" He said, with his usual smirk. There was a brief pause and he leaned over the table and kissed each other! We broke apart and his smirk returned.
"Watch yourself, Tveit." I said, winking at him. We stood up and left to meet the rest of the cast at gate 29A. We saw them and Aaron started towards them.
"Wait Aaron!"
"What?" Turning around and walking back to me.
"You have lipstick of your face!" I giggled as I tried to wipe it off. We got to them and we were greeted by Tom.
"Where were you two?" Asked Amanda.
"Well judging by the lipstick on Aaron's face, they were probably making out!" Laughed Eddie.
"Maybe." Aaron and I said in unison.
"Okay, that's enough! We've got to board the plane soon! Here are your tickets! Anne, your sitting with Helena and Amanda. Russell and Hugh will be with me. Aaron you're with Val and Eddie." The first 8 of us got on the plane while Tom continued. I was in between Aaron and Eddie. The flight was just taking off, so I pulled The Brick (the Les Mis novel) out of my purse. Aaron and Eddie looked at me in surprise.
"You're actually going to read that? The table of contents is 18 pages!" Eddie said, shocked.
"Yup." I replied and got started reading.
Two hours later, I was getting sleepy.
"I'm tired." I complained. Aaron simply smiled at me and moved the armrest between us up and pulled me close to him and kissed the top of my head. I fell asleep with my head on his chest.
