Aaron's PoV
I pushed the girl off of me and looked up at Val. I saw tears about to spill from her eyes as she said three words;
"How could you?" Just as she was turning around and walking out into the rain, I turned to the girl who was kissing me.
"You bitch!" I yelled. I quickly ran outside into the rain, and tried to think of where Val would go. I started running straight until I saw it; the bridge. I ran to the bridge as I saw the vague outline of a person through the rain. I ran up to the figure silently.
"Val." I whispered as I felt the tears fall from my eyes. She didn't hear me, and took one foot of of the ledge, and was shifting her weight. I didn't want to live without her. Thinking as fast as I could, I grabbed her arm and held as tightly as I could. I felt her weight suddenly change. She had jumped, and her life depended on whether or not I could hold on.
"Aaron." She said weakly, with tears streaming down her face. "Don't let me go."
"I won't, I promise." I replied while tightening my grip. I began to pull her up. after a minute or so she was safe. I fell backwards, and because I was still holding her arm, she fell on top of me. I grabbed her face and kissed her lips as passionately as I could. She pulled away and moved her lips to be right next to my ear.
"I'm so sorry." She said while sobbing. I hugged her even tighter. By this point, we were covered in rain, but we didn't care.
