Death's Cold Embrace (MLP Human FanFic)

Chapter 6

(A/N: omg, I'm so late to update this stuff, I'm gonna go and learn how to muffin, till then here's chapter 6)

*Fluttershy's P.O.V*  I wake up to see dash really close to me, and i mean REALLY close to me, her lips are almost right next to mine.

I slowly want to slightly push her back, but something in me wants to kiss her, just being close to dashie is making something in me want to be with her, but what is it?

A few seconds later and i hear a gunshot go off in the distance, and it woke dashie up and she was panicking "Holy crap, what the hell was that?!" Dash said as she held me close, like a scared type of hug.

"I don't know, but it sounded like a gunshot, but it sounded really close" i say as i wrap my arms around dashie scared as well.

Me and dashie look at each other and realize how close we are to each other and pull away from each other blushing and quickly get dressed to see what just happened.

*Rainbow dash's P.O.V* After a few minutes me and shy sneak out the back of my house and fly over the back fence to the front yard and we walk to where we assume the sound came from, but when we arrive at the source, what we see, can not be unseen...

Laying on the ground, bullet through the head, we see the dead body of octavia, her hair messy and scuffled with a hole 3 diameters wide through her head, her shirt slightly torn and face covered in blood.

Shy quickly buries her head in my shoulder, crying and trying not to think about the fact that someone we knew, is lying here dead in front of us.

I look around and i don't see vinyl anywhere to be seen, so octavia was alone...who's to break the news to vinyl?

I look back at the body and nearly puke, but i hold it back, that's when i notice that on octavia's usually white shirt, is written in blood 'you're next.'

At that point i just couldn't look anymore, because i felt this feeling welling up inside me, was it depression, sadness, hatred, vengeance?, no, it was the urge to puke my guts out from looking at a dead body, so i walked off to a nearby bush and just puked till the feeling was gone.

After puking i pull out my phone and dial 911 and a few minutes later the cops show up, they question us and examine the body then have paramedics take the body to the hospital for the morgue.

Before the cops leave they ask "do you know if this girl lived with anyone, i'm sure it would be wise to let them know of her untimely departure."

"We will officer." Shy says as the officer hops in his car and drives away.

"Octavia's dead, how do we break the news to vinyl?" I ask shy.

"I'm not sure dashie." Shy says still slightly sniffling.

"More importantly, who the hell killed her?" I say in an angered tone "no one we know had a reason to hate octavia, she was nice and kind to just about everyone she knew!"

"We'll find who did it dashie, don't worry." Shy says as she hugs me tightly.

"I'm sorry shy, it's just not cool that someone killed octavia" I say hugging her back tightly.

"It's alright dashie, now, let's break the news to vinyl" shy said slightly tearing up.

"Yeah, let's go" I say as we pull apart and make our way to vinyl's house.
