Chapter Six// New Land

Chapter Six

~~~New Land~~~

×I looked around shocked at the island. It was absolutely beautiful but I knew it wouldn't remain that way with Drago and his people. As I took a step on land I nearly cried. It took everything in me not to fall do the ground and hug the sand.

"There will be enough time for sight seeing later Bug," a familiar voice spoke behind me pushing me forward lightly, "Don't just stand there Drago wants you to help build if he sees you haven't even started your in trouble! "

"Oh good morning to you to Ash, sleep well?" I said.

He rolled his eyes his lip twitched, "Come on," he directed me to a pile of wood.

I was woken up this morning by the ship hitting land. Just as my eyes opened I was being forced up to come and help build shelter for Drago and his people. I didn't see why they didn't uses the perfectly fine boats?!

It was kind of warm out probably becaugh we've moved farther away from the north. And I was shocked to admit it I missed Berk and its cold days, I miss the snow storms, my family, heck I even miss Astroid- wait thats a lie.

My bag was heavy on my shoulders. I paused to take it off but stopped when I seen Curious, "Baby boo what are you doing here your supposed to be with the other dragons Dragos orders!"

Yes I did just call my dragon Baby boo get over it! Curious licked my faces. I chuckled giving her a fine you can stay look. As she went back in my bag I set it by a tree. Picking up a log I carried it over to one of Dragos people who took it like it was nothing.

I frowned I hated being small and weak I was the runt of the litter im surprised my father didn't name me Hiccup and the only reason they probably didn't was because it was his name. Why pase on your own name to a disappointment.

I slumped down my back against a tree. My hands were blistered and I had so many splinters. My clothes were socked in sweat. I tiredly put my head in my hands. It was nearly sunrises, all day and night I'd done nothing but helped build.

To my surprise the houses were pretty much done. My stomach growled, I was starving and dying of thirst. Pushing back my hair I looked out to the small bit of gold rays that began to form over the horizon.

Leaning my head back I closed my eyes only to reopen them to one of Dragos people kicking me. Groaning I looked at the ugly viking, "Drago wants to see you," Sighing I grabbed my bag causing Curious to steer on the inside.

I made my way towards the first place we finished building. It wasn't done the best the walls looked like they'd claps any moment. However I was sure it would hold for awhile. Carefully I raised my hand to knock pausing as I felt Curious climbing on my shoulder.

My eyes lookef at her and I whispered, "You can't be out here Drago thinks your with the other dragons. Curious growled and I rolled my eyes raisng my hand and slightly pushing Curious noses causing her to glare and crawl back into my bag.

I then knocked and the door opened splinters of wood fell infront of me. To my surprises Ash opened the door wearing his annoying smirk. Rolling my eyes I walked in head held high only for it to fall from fear as I seen the frightening look on the walls of the small house.

The walls were lined with weapons and war attack plans. That wasn't what scared me it was the pictures of vikings killing dragons. My father told me Berk used to have them but got rid of them when the befriend dragons.

Drago sat he looked over to me and my body went cold. "You called Master," the words came out making me feel sick. I had to do whatever he says which is terrible, I rarely listen to myself.

"You start training the dragon tomorrow," he said, "You will do your training on the other side of the island, for its been said you and the dragon don't get along well with other dragons."

I was about to reply when I saw it Curious was by the fireplace behind Draco. My would nm parted slightly and I held back a gasp, "Uh...yes Mast-oh no," I said as Curious attempt to steal the fish that was cooking on the fire.

"What?" He demand.

"Nothing uh...can't wait to get to work!" I lied, my eyes watched at Curious got closer to the hot flames and the fish.

"Ash will go with you and I will have others check of your progress every day, don't even think of trying to escape the places is surrounded by dragons and my people,"

"NO!!" I cried to Curious as she started to pull the thing that held the fish towards her.

"Excuses me?"

"I- NO WORRIES I won't ever try and escape," I heard Ash laugh and I forced myself not to turn and beat the hell out of him.

I watched as Curious ate the fish and I nearly screamed in frustration. She then made her way to the opened window and jumped out making me become panicked. Drago dismissed me and I nearly ran out to find Curious.

"Curious!" I called lowly.

My eyes looked around for a little night fury, but I couldn't see her and it was to dark to now. My panick raised intill I felt dizzy and couldn't breath. Vikings shoved me as I walked past in search for my dragon.

My eyes started to burn and tears fell. Suck it up Dragonfly, Curious is fine just being curious. "Curious please," I whispered.

It was then I let out a yelp as a dragon jumped at me. I fell back hitting the ground, I gasped for breath, laughing as I seen it was Curious. Lightly I scratched the night furys neck.

"Thank Thor," I said. It was then I started to sob quietly so the vikings didn't hear. Curious nudges me licking my cheek and the tears that fell down it. "Please don't leave me like that again, your all I have left."

I sat up huging the small dragon. Ash called for me and I barley through him a glances. Looking at my dragon I petted her again.

"We gonna make it, were gonna make it back to Berk, back home, I promise," I said.
