TW: Hospitals, starvation, angry Patton

Third Persons POV

Remus sat in the waiting room, hoping and praying that he was okay. Janus got here maybe half an hour ago.

He passed out a few minutes ago, he's been through so much stress. Helping Thomas, taking care of Virgil and keeping Remus happy.

Remus pulled Janus onto his lap and put his head on his shoulder. Remus felt Janus bury his face into his chest and grip his shirt.

Remus pet his hair and told him sweet nothings, trying to help him.

"Anyone here for Virgil Sanders?" A doctor asked. Remus shook Janus to wake him up. "We are." He called as Janus started to wake up.

"Come with me." They said as they walked down the halls. Janus and Remus followed them, though Janus was half asleep.

They eventually stopped outside a room. "Are you two the official caretakers of Virgil?" The doctor asked. "Umm depends on how you look at it." Remus answered. "He lived with us for most of his life, so I guess so." Deceit said with a small yawn.

They nodded. "Did you know he was staving himself? Or about his touch starvation?" They questioned. We nodded. "Alright." They mumbled. "Will he be okay?" Remus asked.

They sighed. "He'll survive but have to stay here for an unknown amount of time." They said. Deceit whimpered quietly and Remus nodded. "Thank you." Remus said before they nodded. "You may see him if you'd like." They said before they left.

Deceit wasted no time in opening the door and running in. Remus face palmed. "Dee don't hurt yourself!" Remus thought as he followed him into the room.

"Virgil?" Janus called grabbing his hand. "Virgil?!"

Virgil's POV (you can't get rid of my son that easily!)

"V....." I heard a mumbled voice call as something grabbed my hand. They were so warm. "Virgil?!"

Third Person POV

Virgil opened his eyes and saw Deceit and Remus. "Hi guys..." He mumbled. Deceit immediately hugged him and started crying.

"Double Dee get off him! You're gonna hurt him!" Remus said trying to pry Deceit off him. Virgil weakly hugged Deceit back.

"I'm okay Dee." He mumbled. Deceit and Virgil stopped hugging. Tear marks running down his face. "I'm so sorry Vee." He said.

Virgil shook his head and kissed his forehead. "It's not your fault. It's mine, I didn't listen." Virgil said to him giving him a weak smile. "But-" he started. "No buts. I did this to myself and it's not your fault." Virgil insisted.

"Its really the light sides for beings stupid and not noticing but okay." Remus said as he stood next to Deceit.

"Okay maybe a bit of that too." Virgil gave in.
"KIDDO ARE YOU OKAY?!" Patton screamed as he opened the door and ran to Virgils bed side next to Deceit.

"I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so SO SORRY!" Patton said. "I should have seen it! Dee was right I'm so so blind! I should've checked on you more and spent time with you!" He rambled.

"Patton." Virgil called as he continued to ramble. "PATTON!" Virgil called which got him to shut up. "It's okay. I'm not upset." He said as he sat up. "But I hurt you an-" he said before Virgil quickly pulled him into a hug. "I'm more mad and Logan and Roman. I'm not even mad at you." He said.

"You, Deceit and Remus are fine. I'm not mad at you!" Virgil said. The message got through because Patton hugged back.

"I'm sorry I didn't see it sooner." He mumbled. "It's okay Pat. I'm sorry I didn't come to you for help." Virgil mumbled back. "If I knew I would've never left your side. And I promise when we get home I won't." He said.
