Nathan's POV

I woke up in a really good mood, as today we are having some special guests at our home. I will not lie I am damn excited because it has been a long time since they came here.

Walking outside the room, I laugh when I see, Abigail is trying to push the couch with all her might and the couch has not even moved an inch.

What is even funnier is that Noel is strapped to her like a baby monkey.

I have told her not to buy these heavy couches, but she had not listened to me saying these are comfy and fluffy.

When I have enjoyed her misery for some moments, I walk to her stifling my laughter.

"This son of yours has thrown his paci under the couch and now he is not ready to take any of his other five pacifiers because he wants that same freaking paci." She glares at me like it is my fault.

I guess, my son, so my fault.

"C'mon, cupcake, he is so small how can he know the difference between his pacis?" I shrug and smile at my boy who is looking at me innocently.

"Oh, yeah?" She crosses her hand, "Then why don't you try giving him another paci." She arches an eyebrow challengingly.

"I will try," I say but even I am not sounding confident to myself, as one thing which I have learned you can't trust babies because they have a habit of making you look like a fool in front of others.

Picking up all his pacifiers, I bring in front of him.

"Hey, Potato." I smile showing him all the pacis, "They are nice, right?"

"Why don't you try this one?" I bring a green color pacifier with an elephant toy near his face.

He looks at the elephant with utmost concentration then holding it he chucks on the floor.

"Okay, we don't like elephant, mom." I laugh looking at the Abigail, who is even smiling.

"What about a giraffe?"

His face scrunches up as his bottom lip start to quiver. This is a warning sign before the storm.

Instantly, putting away all the pacifiers, I push the couch away to find that one pacifier that my son wants.

Successfully, finding the yellow pacifier with a wooden beads clip I show it to Noel before his hiccups turn into loud sobs.

"Hold on, let dada wash it for you then you can have it." I rush to the kitchen to wash the paci.

After washing the paci thoroughly with hot water and soap till I am satisfied I give it to Noel who looks content to have his favorite paci back.

"You are a good dad." Abigail smiles and pecks my lips while my heart swells hearing this, as all I want is to be good for them.

The doorbell rings and Abigail looks at me with a wide grin.

"They are here." She squeals as I go to answer the door while shaking my head at her.

"Uncle!" Dylan and Logan hug me at the same time.

While I return their hug with the same enthusiasm and notice the sad face of Irene which of course bothers me as she is my little best friend.

Adam has some family emergency and Hannah also has to go with him, so Abigail asked them to leave the kids with us. So they do not have to worry about kids.

As the twins rush inside to meet their Auntie while I pick up Irene and close the door after their driver has left.

"What's wrong, princess?" I ask removing her hair from her face.
