Noel's POV
I am doing something.
I don't know, what I am doing, but I am doing something fun.
Mama told me what we are doing, but I forget. So, now, I know that I am helping mama in doing something.
"Are you finger painting?" Mama asks as she looks at the paper I am doing pat pat.
Now I remember mama told me that we are going to do finger painting. So what I am doing something fun, is called finger painting.
I love finger painting.
"Is that a flower, Noel?" She looks at my finger painting. "It is so beautiful."
Yes, it is a flower and it is beautiful and I don't know what is a flower.
"Are you painting a flower for me?" She kisses my cheek, and I give her a big smile because I love it when she kisses me.
And now I want to give her a big kiss.
"Mamma..." I open my arms because I want her to pick me up so that I can give her a very big kiss.
She picks me up and places me in her lap then pulling her hair down I give her a big kiss which makes her laugh.
"Awww... thank you, Noel." She squeezes me tightly which I don't like, but still, being a good boy I just slightly cry. But I calm down as soon as she leaves me.
"Okay... okay... mama is sorry, don't cry." She kisses my head then we both do finger painting.
"What are you guys doing?" Dada asks as he sits on the floor beside me. But when he tries to take me from mama, she loudly pat pat his hand.
"No, my Noey." She narrows her eyes at Dada.
Yes, mama's Noey.
"Potato, won't you come to dada?" Dada smiles and opens his arms.
Yes, Potato will go to his dada.
Leaning towards dada, I raise my arms so he can pick me up.
"Unbelievable." Mama shakes her head, looking at me and dada.
"You already have our one baby with you, so it is only fair if I keep Potato with me." Dada stands up as he holds me.
"Potato, want to do something real fun?" Dada raises his eyebrows while nodding his head.
I laugh loudly because I want to do something real fun... I don't know what is real fun, but I want to do that.
"Cupcake, watch this," Dada says to mama, and holding my feet he lifts me as I stand in the air.
I can stand in the air and I am so tall. Ever taller than dada.
"Nathan, I swear, if you drop my child." Mama shouts as her eyes become really big, "I am going to smack your head against the wall." Mama stands up and tries to take me from dada, but he quickly clutches me against his chest.
Then holding my hand, he swipes my hand across mama's cheek.
I squeal happily, as now I have painted mama's face too.
"Nathan!" Mama's mouth falls open as she looks at Dada.
Then picking up my finger painting pat pat, she raises an eyebrow at Dada.
"No, Abigail, put the colors away." Dada shakes his head and moves away from mama.
Colors? What are the colors? Those are my finger painting pat pat.
"You started it." Mama smiles and then she finger paints Dada's face.
Dada looks funny, he doesn't look like my dada. So I want to go to my mama now.
Stretching my arms towards mama, I grab her shirt and cry when dada doesn't leave me.
"Changing the team, huh?" Dada says as he gives me to mama because I am crying.
I know they listen to me when I cry. So I cry when I want something and now I wanted my mama.
But now I am crying because mama and dada have finger painting on their face, but they didn't put finger painting on Noel's face.
"What happened? Why are you crying?" Mama asks.
"Bmmm..." I cry and point at Dada's face.
"See, Nathan, he is calling you an ass." Mama laughs.
What is an ass? I am saying that I want finger painting on my face like Dada's face.
"Abigail, don't teach him bad words." Dada narrows his eyes at mama who is still laughing.
"Ba..." I cry because I am speaking so clearing even then they are not understanding me.
"Yes, that is a bad word." Dada nods his head and smiles at me, after glaring at mama who sticks her tongue out at him, "You are so smart, Potato."
Yes, Potato is smart... me Potato.
But why are they not understanding me? I want finger painting on my face.
I look at my hands, my hands also have finger painting... mama and dada have finger painting, but only I don't have.
I scream and start crying loudly because I am angry and sad.
"Why is he crying?" Dada asks mama.
"I think, he is hungry," She says.
I was not hungry before, but now when she has said that I am hungry... so, now I am hungry.
After some time dada gives me my bottle, so I stop crying and take my bottle as mama lies me down in her lap.
"He was hungry, that's why he was crying." Mama smiles looking at me. "He has stopped crying as soon as you gave him the bottle."
Dada also smiles feeling happy that I am not crying anymore.
But they don't know that I will drink my milk, then after that, I will continue to cry.
