Scream
Some nights I just want to scream to the moon.
To the sun.
To give me the freedom I desire.
I scream to the earth to let me be free. Free me from this place.
Scream until I am flying through the sky.
My arms, becoming wings.
My body, turning into a frail bird.
It dives deep into the ocean.
Its body becomes a fish.
The fish dives deep into the ocean. Where no one has gone before.
The farther it goes the colder it gets, the darker it gets.
The sea animals have become sparse.
It reaches the bottom.
Surrounded by darkness.
The fish turns back to a human.
It screams and screams until its lungs are filled with water.
The darkness engulfs it.
The human being is reduced to an atom. A single atom in the darkness of nothing. Unable to move or speak, the darkness speaks for it.
"Let me go."
