Helen never was mentally stable as a kid. He would draw very gory and sick drawings from a young age. And when he was being bullied in school, it got worse. He would fantasize about hurting them and other horrible things. Eventually he just broke and actually did it. Nobody really realized what was happening till it was way too late and bodies were dropping like flies.
