You were sitting on the couch, playing on your phone in the apartment you shared with your boyfriend Colby. He walked into the room and stopped in his tracks. You slowly looked up at him and he had a sleepy looking smile on his face. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" He asked, his smile never leaving his face.
You chuckled and stood up and walked over to him. You wrapped your arms around his neck and buried your face in his chest. "Everyday" your voice was muffled by his shirt. He wrapped his arms around your waist and picked you up. You wrapped your legs around his torso and giggled.
"With good reason. Your the most beautiful human being." He smiled. You loved the way his eyes crinkled in the corners when he smiled. He kissed the tip of your nose, then your lips, then your neck. You might have gotten farther if you weren't so tired. You yawned and he took his lips off your neck to look at you again.
"Wanna go lay down" he asked with a smirk on his face. You rolled your eyes and smiled "Absolutely. You already knew the answer to that." You replied. He chuckled "Yeah I totally did.". He carried you to the bedroom and threw you on the bed. You laughed then rearranged yourself so you were laying properly. He laid down next to you and handed you the TV remote before wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you closer to him. He started to play with your hair while you looked for something to watch.
After a while he had stopped playing with your hair and you were watching a random movie. Colby pushed himself up on his elbow. You looked at him out of the corner of your eye. "I'm obsessed." He said with his breathtaking smile spread on his face. You turned towards him but didn't say anything. "I wanna count the freckles on your face." He continued. "Rearrange them, put them in the same place." He finished. You laughed "Did you steal that from TikTok?". He smiled again "Yep." He said grabbing your face and kissing you deeply.
You two cuddled some more until you fell asleep.
