You were invited to this random party by your friends and now they are nowhere to be found. "Ugh story of my life" you sighed and leaned against a wall.
You sat there for a good 30 minutes before a small, brown haired boy came up to you. "Hey" he said over the music. You raised an eyebrow "Hey?" You replied, confused. He smiled. Jesus you didn't even know who he was, but his smile was beautiful. "I'm Payton. I noticed you over here by yourself and thought I'd come hang out with you. My friends ditched me." He said. You strained to hear him over the music "Oh! I'm Y/N. My friends ditched me too." You responded, shouting over the music.
He laughed a little. " Well it looks like we have something in common already." He said with his stupidly cute smile still on his face. You just smiled in return. He turned and examined the room before he turned to you "Wanna dance?" He asked with a hopeful look in his eyes. You nodded.
He held out his hand to you, which you gratefully took. He led you out to the dance floor as the song changed into a slower song. He put his hand on your waist and you wrapped your arms around his neck. You both swayed to the beat of the music. You put your head on his shoulder and he leaned down toward your ear. "Ya know... Your pretty cool." He whispered in your ear. You giggled and nuzzled into his neck. He kissed the top of your head and you both kept dancing. Once the song changed you went outside to talk for a little while.
You talked about random stuff and exchanged numbers so you could talk more and hang out. His friends ended up finding him and then they had to go home. Then soon after they left your friends came to get you. "Where have you guys been?" You shouted. "Well we were gonna come and get you but then we saw you with that one boy and decided to leave you alone." One of your friends responded. "Oh my God. You guys are unbelievable." You laughed. "He was cute by the way." The same friend said and winked at you. You chuckled and elbowed her then you went home.
