Chapter 6-The CONVO

Ilham:

     I left the office early today and headed to my favorite place since my childhood...it's a beautiful garden near a bridge which looks so beautiful especially during the summer.

I sat down and thought about how life would be if my parents were still here and if he never came into my life,just hope that will be the last time am seeing him.

After sitting and enjoying the sweet fragrance of the flowers and thinking life through I decided to go back home.

I parked and went into my house and Yasmin was just about leaving to the maids' quarters.

"Good night Ma'am"
"Good night" and with that I head to my room.

I changed and prayed and then went to bed with one thing on my mind

Why is he back after such a long time?

Sahil:

Don't know what's wrong with me but I definitely don't like it. She only commented out of friendliness and nothing more I'm sure.

Wait even if there's more to it,why should I care? I need to stop this stupid thoughts of mine.

I slept thinking about her,which I have no idea as to why am thinking of her.

I woke up and showered and got dressed.

I went down and the food has been set already I quickly ate and left for the office.

"Good morning Sir" my PA greeted me.
I nod and asked her what the schedule is for today.

"Sir you have a meeting in 45minutes" she said checking her note pad.

"Okay" I entered my office and signed a few papers.

I checked my watch and I have 3minutes until the meeting begins. I walked to the conference room and they all stood up to greet me except one woman which her face wasn't in view.

Well she needs to respect me if we're gonna be working together.

I nod my head and asked them to sit back down. And that was when I saw her.

The b**ch had the guts. I wonder what she wants now. But of course I can't ask her now,I need to keep it professional.

I took my sit and faced her and her old man.

The meeting began and they were actually trying to make a deal with us about giving them a building we own and in return,we get 40% of the profit they make there.

I know the 'Ashmads' very well they are frauds. And I won't let this deal happen,definitely won't let what happened the last time repeat itself.

"Thank you for the offer,but we're not interested" suddenly my board members looked shocked.

After much arguments,I decided we  would think about it and get back to them. But I know I won't agree to it.

I went back to my office. I sat down and thought of going to see HER.......

I heard a knock and asked the person to come in.

My manager walked in and we discussed about the new project with the Farouqs.

After that he left my office and I worked on a few project designs that need to be submitted and approved by the board members.
