Author's POV
Irene was exploring around outside the village playing with the animals there and amused with the plats she never knew . 'I never went out of the village before this is the best day of my life' she said not knowing what will happen next . Suddenly that peaceful and happy aura disappeared as she heard the screaming of her people . She dashed her way to see Light arrows shooting her people down . She was petrified but the screaming brought her back to reality 'What am I doing they need help' she thought when she tried to dash in but suddenly she bumped in to something realizing it was a barrier . She was crying so hard trying to go in but a barrier kept her from doing it using her magic trying to break the barrier but her doings were fruitless . She broke down as she watched the horrible scene in front of her she took a glimpse of Licht doing a certain spell . 'That spell' thought Irene
Flashback
"Hey Licht What are you doing?"asked a silver haired girl "Hello Irene , I was reading about a new spell in my grimore ." Answered Licht " Ohh What is it ?" Irene asked again . Licht looked around to make sure no one was there "Can you keep a secret?"this time Licht asked a question "Of course secret is my middle name ." Proclaimed Irene . This made Licht chuckle "Well then I'll tell you." Said Licht . He came closer to the pointy ear of our main character and whispered "It's *whisper*" "Wow that's amazing Licht !"
End of flashback
Irene wipes her tears Away but ironically more tears came down . "Licht thank you I promise to avenge you and wait till you come back ."
The elf said in tears . 'I better not waste time the attack originated there not that much time has passed maybe they are still there' thought Irene while running . 'Those despicable humans .!! We should have never trusted them!!' When Irene reached the place she was shocked not at the view of her home destroyed nor at the people cheering at their accomplishment . But what shocked her the most is 'Those are not humans they are be-'
