3rd POV
Irene silently but quickly climbed the gates with a makeshift rope made of vines she made her way to the head of the village's home . Checking through the window she saw him and his wife sleeping she quietly went in and fished out her knife her hands were shaking hesitating after all elves were peaceful creatures .
Having second thoughts she remembered her friends her family and Litch why should she spare the people who killed innocent lives ? Her eyes filled with anger and sadness she slit both of their throats this time without hesitation .
She ran all over the place to see if any one was there she entered a door and found only a guest room without guests another door then another . She checked the last door there she saw him the very person who led the invasion and cheered for her loss she unhesitatingly killed him stabbing his dead body over and over then she was satisfied .
She exited the house and began sending men , women and even children to their deathbeds she always hesitated with the young ones she felt sorry they had to be punished for their parent deeds hoping they will have a better life in the next one but carried it through knowing these children will one day be like their parents .
5 more houses was left when she will start ending the knight's dorm she wanted them to see all the pain and then end them to feel her pain .
She entered and there were the knights she walked to the nearest beastmen who was slowly waking up because of her footsteps the beastman noticed her and tried to scream but Irene quickly put him in a chokehold and broke his vocal cords .
braking ones vocal cords and torturing them is one of the cruelest way to win in a death match because not only will the person die but feel horrible because he cannot surrender .
She stabbed him in the abdomen the beastmen begged for mercy but could not speak , things were going smoothly . Unfortunately some beastmen are very sensitive to hearing they awoke and one of them screamed "Wake up we have an intruder ." . The beastmen awoke and got their weapons .
