Chapter 2
The first thing that I noticed when I got out of the car, was the gathering of dark clouds above us which is pretty odd.
I'm not really fond of the cold. Unfortunately, I did not expect a sudden windy and probably rainy day kaya wala akong dala kahit payong man lang.
Napatingala akong muli sa nagbabadyang masamang panahon. The clouds are getting thicker now, like any moment it would start pouring down. I don't want to be out in the open if ever that happen.
Unfortunately, I was right. A few students who are still in the pathway started running for shelter. I even heard a few, muttering curses about the sudden rainfall.
The cold winds hit me again and I shivered. I started for the classroom not wanting to stay there any longer and freeze.
I went for my seat which is in the front row exactly aligned at the teachers table. It was the perfect seat. I can hear the teacher, there are no distraction from my classmates and I got a full view of the entire white board in front.
I can work with ease.
There are three others with her but their faces seems unfamiliar. It's like a part of my job to familiarize all of the students here.
There is something about them that made them seems so out of place. Maybe it's the firmness in their eyes, like they've faught many hard battles. They smile and I find it genuine, but their eyes just seems different from the usual eyes of teenagers I've seen. Theirs looked sure, yet watchful and sad, really sad.
"Guys kaibigan ko nga pala si Jeraia but everyone calls her Raia the smartest girl in class– no more like the smartest gir~"
"Hi, I'm Raia." I said cutting Elli off before she starts blabbering about my entire highschool life including my number of crushes and other embarrassing stuff.
"It's nice to meet you Raia. It perfectly suited her small face and sharp jaw. Idagdag pa ang kulay kape, mahaba, at straight nyang buhok na animo'y kumikintab. With such a flawless look and hair it's no wonder she belongs in the elite class.

FantasyNothing is more painful than being unwanted and treated like you are invisible inside your own house. That's what Jeraia felt when her adoptive father decided to remarry, three years after her adoptive mother's death. She badly wanted to leave, but...
