Stella's POV
I just scrolled on my phone, laid down on the bed, and did things to try and calm my mind.
But I just couldn't.
I really like Luke, but I don't want to hurt Calum. He's my best friend, and Luke's. It's going to hurt him a lot to see me with Luke.
Maybe there's a thing for soulmates, but for bestfriends. Maybe I'm not meant to be in a romantic relationship with Calum. Maybe there are many types of soulmates.
Stop. Stop thinking. I just can't think of me and Calum together. I can't be with him. I can't love him. There's no such thing as 'bestfriend soulmates'. I'm meant to be with him, and I know I will be disgraced for the rest of my life for not doing so.
I soon fell asleep thinking deeper about Luke and Calum until my head started to hurt.
Luke's POV
She's been up there for a while and I'm starting to worry.
I'm not gonna lie. When I talk about her to other people, it's as if she were my girlfriend. I say things that probably only a boyfriend would, and it just makes me sad in the end because I know that I'm not her perfect match.
As far as I know.
I excused myself from the boys and made my way to my room. There she lay on my bed, sleeping peacefully. She started to toss in her sleep and I panicked, so I pretended to be looking for something just in case she woke up.
"Luke? What time is it?" She said in her sleepy voice. Shit.
"It's around 11, Stel. I was just getting my uh, wallet." I said and went back to the living room.
She fell back asleep straight away and I got out of the room. I went back to the boys and Jamie.
Jamie was an okay girl. She may be super talkative and annoying at times, but she's a really nice person when you get to know her. Michael actually saw her tattoo already, and he knows they match, but she was asleep and she doesn't know. He wants her to trust him enough to show her. Only then will she know that they are soulmates.
I really should try to maybe ask Stella out sometime. I like her and she likes me, it's obvious, so who knows what fate will say about us?
