Chapter 8

Omkara locked the bathroom door and looked down at the T shirt in his hand.

"She looks like a innocent girl but keeps the dresses of her lovers in her wardrobe." Omkara thought unbuttoning his shirt, "This what people refers to as Wolf in a sheep's clothing, acting innocent to catch guys and showing their real character's when the guy is vulnerable." Omkara huffed wearing the T shirt.

"Thank god, I am not so innocent like other guys to fall for the stupid games. As soon as I get keys I am leaving this place and never gonna see her face again." Omkara thought opening the door.

He came into the living room and found Gauri eating pizza watching cartoons on the TV.

"Buddy, I ordered pizza you too can have some." She said offering a pizza piece to Omkara.

He looked down at the pizza piece to Gauri and walked towards the sofa pushing her aside he grabbed the whole pizza box and began to eat making Gauri look at him in shock.

Omkara finished eating the whole pizza and disposed the box in the dustbin. His began to ring.

"I hope Arjun found the keys." He muttered taking the phone.

"Did you found the keys?" Omkara asked as soon as he lifted the call.

"Umm.. No sir." Arjun said carefully.

"Them bloody search it why are calling me without searching for it?" Omkara barked.

"S.. Sir actually I found out something else." Arjun said stuttering.

"And what is it?" Omkara asked annoyed.

"Sir, a very confidential file that has all the data about our company ideas for the upcoming project in it is missing sir." Arjun said and a pregnant silence followed that Arjun has to check if the call has ended.

"Are you sure, Arjun?" Omkara asked in a cold tone.

"Yes sir, I searched the whole office and didn't found the keys and file." Arjun said carefully.

"Arjun, listen carefully it's an important file for our company to reach the top most position. And I am sure someone in the office is involved in it search all the office and suspects houses too. I bloody hell want the file back." Omkara said in a cold and menacing voice making a shiver run in Arjun spine.

"Yes sir."

"And if you find the culprit get him to me, I will deal with them." With that Omkara disconnected the call.

"Shit, whoever stole the file they are working for my rivals and I have to make sure the other files are not crypted. " Omkara thought holding his forehead.

"Tell me your WiFi password. " Omkara ordered Gauri opening his laptop.

Gauri blinked twice to make sure that Omkara's talking with her.

"I asked for WiFi password not your bank password, tell me what's your password." Omkara asked raising his voice.

"Chota bheem loves laddoos."

"I asked for the WiFi password not about the likes and dislikes of chota bheem." Omkara growled irritated.

"That's my WiFi password." Gauri said softly making Omkara shake his head and type the password.

Omkara began to type rapidly in his laptop as if he was venting all the anger on the key board, Gauri has wondered if the key board will survive tonight.

"Did you find the file, Arjun?" Omkara asked balancing his mobile between his neck and shoulder while typing in the laptop.

"No sir, but I found your apartment keys." Arjun's reply came.

"Send the security guard to my apartment along with the keys and the other confidential files that are in my desk." Omkara instructed.

Omkara spent the rest of the hour typing in his laptop raising his head only when he has to make a call to Arjun to know about the file. Gauri sat in the other corner if the sofa watching Mr. Bean on the TV with Zero volume. Time to time she began to look towards Omkara discreetly.

Ding-Dong

The calling bell rang making Gauri to look towards Omkara.

"That's my security guard at the door with my apartment keys and files." Omkara said without lifting his head from the screen.

Gauri nodded her head.

"What are you doing sitting here? Go and get my keys and files." Omkara ordered Gauri and she walked towards the door without any complaint.

"Here's your files and keys." Gauri said meekly placing the files and keys on the table.

"Good." Omkara said without raising his head.

Gauri felt sleepy but still didn't dared to tell Omkara to leave her apartment. She was scared that he will shout on her again. She sat there on the sofa watching Omkara do his work.

"Did you find the file, Arjun? " Omkara asked.

"No sir. " Arjun said making Omkara mutter a series if curses.

"Find the file at any cost. If I failed to see the file on my desk by tomorrow evening then you can submit your resignation." Omkara said cutting the call and standing up from the sofa.

He strode out of Gauri's apartment grabbing his keys making Gauri sigh in relief.

"He forgot his laptop here." Gauri thought standing up from the sofa, "May be he forgot it in tension, poor buddy seems like he lost a very important file."  "

I will go remind him about his laptop." Gauri thought making her way towards her apartment door.
She was about to open the door when it got opened from the other side with a force making Gauri stumble but thankfully she regained her balance.

"Yes Khanna, search every suspects home and no matter what they say, don't stop until you find the file." Omkara said making his way towards the living room as if he owned the place. "It's a very confidential file, Khanna. It can cost us some crores if it falls in wrong hands." He said pulling his hair.

"Buddy, don't take tension. You will find it." Gauri said and stopped after earning a glare from Omkara.

"Don't you have office or college tomorrow morning?" Omkara asked in a annoyed tone.

"I do."

"Then what are you doing standing here wasting my time, go and sleep." Omkara ordered making Gauri nod and walk towards the direction of her bedroom.

"Before going to bed get me a cup of black coffee with one cube sugar." He ordered.

Gauri walked towards the the kitchen to make coffee.
