"Mom called me in the afternoon." Omkara said after picking up Gauri from her college, "She's organising a prayer to God in our ancestral temple, tomorrow morning and invited us."

When we have to go there?" Gauri asked fastening her seat belt.

"She told the prayer starts in the early hours of the day so, I am thinking to go and stay there tonight." Omkara told without wavering his gaze from the road.

"Ok, I will be pack my clothes, once we reach the apartment."

"That isn't needed just pack the essentials, Mom said she brought dresses for you and Anika, to wear during the prayer." Omkara chuckled, "My mom's so happy that finally she got to do some girl shopping, otherwise she used to bicker about how boring it is for her to buy shirts and pants always."

"Bhavya is also joining us tomorrow, right?"

"Yes, Mom personally called an invited her, she also did a last minute shopping to buy dress for Bhavya."

"Your mom's sweet." Gauri smiled.

"What about her son?" Omkara asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"He's sweet too." Gauri mumbled in a shy voice making Omkara laugh and kiss her cheek.

"I am feeling so happy," Jhanvi said in a ecstatic tone. "Finally both my son's chose correct girls for them." She said pulling Anika and Gauri into a big hug.

Shivaay and Omkara shook their heads smiling.

"Now, I have someone to accompany me for girl shopping and gossip about the things." Jhanvi clapped. "I brought dresses for you girls', come on let me show you." She said

"Jhanvi, atleast let them have the dinner." Tej said in a amused tone.

"Oh, sorry." Jhanvi said leaving Anika and Gauri, "Come, I cooked Vegetable rice, my grandma's recipe." She said pulling Anika and Gauri along with her.

"At this rate, we won't get any chance to spend time with our girls'." Omkara sighed.

"Yes." Tej said wrapping his arm around Shivaay and Omkara's shoulder making them raise their brows.

"What? Even I miss my wife's attention." Tej said making Shivaay and Omkara roll their eyes.

"Let's go and eat." Tej said walking towards dining hall leaving Shivaay and Omkara behind.

"I wonder, why Rudra haven't made his presence yet considering Mom made his favourite Veg rice?" Omkara said checking his phone.

"Even I was wondering the same. Why isn't Rudra here yet?" Shivaay said looking towards the entrance.

"Boys', what are you waiting for? The food is getting cold." Tej said standing near dining room entrance.

"We are waiting for Rudra, Dad." Shivaay answered.

"Waiting for Rudra?" Tej said with a questioned look, "He's the first one to arrive, he's eating food in the dining room at this moment." Tej said walking inside.

"We should have guessed." Omkara said walking towards the dining room with Shivaay.

"Jaanu aunty has magic in her hands." Rudra said stuffing another spoon of rice in his mouth sitting on the dining table, with Anika and Gauri seated either side of him and Bhavya sitting opposite to Rudra.

"Did you leave any food for us or you ate our portions too." Omkara asked pulling a chair beside Bhavya, in front of Gauri.

"Your mom cooked a storm, I don't think the food falls short anywhere." Tej informed.

"I don't think even a storm will be enough for Rudra." Omkara muttered.

"Shut up, Om. Let the poor guy eat." Jhanvi scolded serving more food for Rudra patting his head.

"Bhavya, I am happy that you accepted my request and joined us." Jhanvi said serving food to Bhavya.

"How could I not when you invited me so lovingly and Gauri was talking about how your delicious food is."

"You should visit us often, I will cook food for you." Jhanvi smiled.

"I hate this." Omkara groaned rolling in his bed for the hundredth time in past one hour. "Why didn't I asked Gauri to sleep with me? Now, I can't even sleep."

"May be I should go and sleep in Gauri's room." Omkara thought, "But Bhavya is sharing room with Gauri, I can't do that. Shivaay is one smart guy, he pulled Anika with him to his room, I was stupid to let Gauri sleep in guest room." He chastised himself.

"Now, I have no other choice bit to try and get sleep without Gauri or stay awake all night." Omkara mumbled to himself laying on the bed pulling the duvet, as he was about to turn off the bed lamp his room door opened revealing Gauri, who was standing in her pyjamas and sleep deprived eyes.

Omkara looked amused at Gauri, who walked sleepily towards him and threw herself on the bed.

"Good Night, Omkara." Gauri yawned snuggling closer to Omkara, who looked at her with all love, pressing a kiss on her head and layed back to sleep peacefully.

"Gauri, wake up baby, we should get ready and join the others for the prayer." Omkara said trying to wake up Gauri.

"Five minutes more and I will wake up." Gauri mumbled pulling the duvet over her head.

"Gauri, wake up we have to get ready and leave for the ancestral temple." Omkara said pulling the duvet off her.

"I hate waking up early." Gauri pouted.

"I know and I hate waking you up from your sleep." Omkara said kissing the pout, "Go and get ready, mom sent dress for you and I will go shower in the other room." He said placing a brown bag on the bed and closing the door behind as Gauri dragged herself into the bathroom.

"Gauri, are you ready? Everyone left to the temple already." Omkara asked walking inside the room and stopped in his tracks as he found Gauri sitting on the bed wearing a white Terry cotton bathrobe.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Omkara asked standing in front of Gauri.

Gauri pulled out the clothes, Jhanvi gave to her from the bag.

"A saree? Mom brought you a saree." Omkara exclaimed looking at the red saree with intricate gold designs on it.

"Yes and I never wore a saree." Gauri said looking up at Omkara. "And I didn't brought any clothes with me."

"Even Anika and Bhavya left for the temple, I can't even go and ask them to lend you some clothes."

"Now, what do we do? I don't know how to drape a saree." Gauri said rolling her lip out.

"Erm... I know how to drape a saree." Omkara mumbled, "I can help you, if you want."

"You know." Gauri exclaimed, "How?"

"Well, since my mom was obsessed with girls and she never had a girl child." Omkara rubbed his neck, "She used to get me and Shivaay dressed up in girls' clothes in our childhood, so, I know how to drape a saree."

"That's great, Please help me, Omkara." Gauri said giving the saree to Omkara.
