You stared mindlessly at your boyfriend, Seonghwa talking to Hongjoong, one of his friends. Our relationship is secret, only mine and his friends know about our relationship. We have to keep it a secret because it's not considered "ideal" for us to be together for obvious reasons.
Yes, even in the 21st century, our relationship would still be frowned upon by people. The town we live in is still stuck with an outdated mindset which is weird because there is so much diversity yet everyone is so closedminded. My parents were a bit more open minded but they still wouldn't approve of my relationship.
His parents would never even allow us to be together romantically but they approve of us as friends . Nothing more.
That's why, to everyone, we're just friends. We kind of like the idea of keeping our relationship to ourselves becaudebiy feels more special but part of me wants everyone to know. We can barely even be together out in public.
The school bell rang signaling the beginning of class. My finds and I walked to class and we sat at the very back by the window. An few minutes later the teacher walked in, starting her lesson and the low and behold Seonghwa and his friends walk in.
"and where have you guys been?" Mrs Joseph asked.
"We needed to go somewhere first, sorry this won't happen again." Hongjoong said and Mrs Joseph nodded and they walked in to take their seats which were around the se area where me and my friends sat. The teacher continued her lesson and Seonghwa turned around facing me and winked at me, turning back to pay attention to lesson. This boy.
"Why were you late?" I whispers to San who was sitting next to Seonghwa.
"No reason." he said and I face palmed. The boring lesson continued until the be rang and we went to our separate classes until lunch.
In the cafeteria, I saw a girl trying to get with Seonghwa and I wished I could go there to stop her but I know Seonghwa will reject her but it would be nice to tell girls to stay away frim my boyfriend but I couldn't because we have to keep it a secret.
