Chrono x Tokoha

Forgiveness

"Doctor how is he?"Shion got up from his seat to ask the doctor.

"He's not looking too good.He suffered a concussion and a part of his skull cracked.We would have to put him under observation for now.But be prepared for the worst."The doctor told Shion.Tokoha,Kazuma,Luna,Am,Taiyou and Saya were all outside of the ward.

"I'm sorry Tokoha.Chrono doesn't seem to be out of critical condition just yet.The doctors have to put him under observation for now."Shion replied.Tokoha felt devestated.She didn't want to believe this is happening.She doesn't want to believe that Chrono is in the ward with a chance that he may never wake up again.She didn't want to believe that.

All Chrono tried to do was to save her,but in the end he was the one who got hurt instead.

Chrono and Tokoha were in walking along the streets after they went to Card Capital 2.Chrono was kind enough to send her to her house until there were a group of people standing in front of Chrono.He had pissed them off the other day by challenging them into a fight.They weren't too happy with what Chrono did and set out for revenge onto Chrono.The group of men ran into Chrono as he was trying to protect Tokoha.One of the man grabbed Tokoha by the back,catching her off guard.Theman had a knife close to her neck.He told Chrono to surrender or else she would be killed.Chrono had no choice but to raise his hands up to admit defeat and the group ganged up on him and beat him up.The group kept on beating and kicking him until they hearf police sirens at the background.Someone had called the policeand the amublance for help and the group decided to run away.Tokoha ran towards Chrono who's head was bleeding out profusely and many bruises were on his body.The damage he sustained were severe.The paramedics quickly check on Chrono and gave him CPR before heading him into the ambulance and reaching the nearest hospital.

"It's...It's all my fault!If I had been more cautious,none of this would've happened!"Tokoha blamed herself.She never wanted this to happen.If she had only been able to be more attentive,maybe Chrono won't have to be the one that's in the ward right now.

"Calm down Tokoha."Shion said."Blaming yourself won't help the fact that Chrono is still in there.We all just have to trust him to wake up.I'm sure he doesn't blame you for it.It's just an unfortunate accident.No one expected it to happen and no one wanted it to happen."

Tokoha sqaut down,the sound of he cries could be heard quite well even though she was trying to be quiet about it.She only wished she could turn back the time to prevent it from happening.But she knows that what's done is done.Nothing anybody could do that would bring Chrono back from his state.They just have to believe.

Days have passed and there were no signs of Chrono waking up anytime soon.The hope of him waking up feels further and further away as the days go by.Kazuma,Luna,Am ans the others would visit Chrono when they had the time to.The only person who was visiting daily was Tokoha.She just feel that she couldn't leave him behind after what had happened.She could only pray that Chrono would be able to see the light of day again.

Inside Chrono's mind

"Where exactly am I?"Chrono asked himself as he looks around his surroundings.He finds himself lying on the floor,not being able to move a muscle in his body.

"So have you found your reason for living?"A figure behind him said to Chrono.For some reason,it sounded so familiar to him.But he just can't point out who it was and how he found it so familiar.Chrono slowly turns around to look at the back.Every inch he moves,it feels like it becomes more and more painful in his body.Once he was able to fully see who it was that was speaking to him,he gave a shocked face that he would never have unless the person wasn't supposed to be alive anymore.

"Da...Dad?"Chrono stuttered.

"Well you look like shit.As soon as I'm gone,you gotta go get yourself in trouble.What kind of kid have I raised?"Rive facepalmmed himself as he looks at Chrono who had a little more than just a scratch.
