Chapter One

My heart raced along with my feet as I walked down the dark alley.My paced quickened to a run and I made a steady habit of checking behind me.

"Still no one," I thought in less than a mere whisper.

The alley reached a cross road and I saw the build of two large men casted into the light from the lamp post.

They stepped out into my way, hands balled in fists.

My voice called out,"You wouldn't want to do that."

"Why not?" they asked in mockery.

"This..." I trailed.

I lifted my arm up slowly. The surrounding light posts shattered and the energy inside rushed to my hand kicking me back

The faces of my enimes looked as if they were struck lame by fear.

I pointed my hand at them. A large blue bolt rushed toward my opponents. Both were knocked to their knees.

I stood up. The sirens were coming. When the red and blue light projected onto the buildings, I had an epiphany on how close they were.

I darted to the closest wall. I scaled up it. Stepping on bricks, grasping ledges.

When I reached the top of the building, I looked down. A few impressed faces looked up at me.
