Love fades (!)

You sniffled as you watch video of you and Aidan at the carnival, oh how you wish you could turn back time to live the memories you shared together.

You wiped you tears and smiled softly at the photos you saw. You didn't want to delete them, you couldn't. But you knew if you saved the memories you had together, the much harder it will be to get over him.

And all you deleted everyone of the photos you shared. Every video, every message, you blocked him on everything. The lump in your throat had gotten harsh as you kept your sobs quiet.

Now it was time to get rid of the hoodies and gifts he had gave you. The Polaroids that hung of your wall around your fairy lights was the hardest. Your milkshake dates, firework kisses and holidays. You'll miss him. You'll miss his jokes and childish personality.

You'll miss his warm hugs and loving kisses. You'll miss everything about him. But he found someone else. You were off his mind for a split second he had to replace another girl in his arms.

He didn't regret everything that happened that night. Everything. He didn't regret sleeping with her, he doesn't regret saying he was single when he damn well knew he was with an amazing, beautiful soul. He knew this was gonna happen. He didn't think twice of how it would affect your relationship and the two of you.

He knows you will find someone who will love you more than you love them. He will know they will treat you better than he did. He prays to god you won't go back to him, he's afraid he'll hurt you again. He knows he will hurt you again because his mind doesn't think twice.

His heart shattered when you found out. He wanted to comfort you and sort things out. But he broke it off which hurt you even more. The thought of him and another girl in bed hurt you so much you became numb. He said he loved you. He said he cared. He said he would never hurt you.

But he did the complete opposite. He never loved you. He never cared. He hurt you. He lied to you, he lied about the relationship because it was all a silly little dare. He didn't think about what he was gonna get himself into you.

You laid in bed, thinking what you couldn't give him. But...you have him everything. You gave him your care, your love, your laughs...everything. You wasted the best of you on someone who wasn't worth your time. If only you could have seen it...but love blinded you.
