When Angel' s great grandmother Sandy was in the kitchen cooking up thanksgiving dinner, she was talking about how the Chaffee zoo had money problems.
Angel started thinking what would happen to the animals. They would not have homes, water , food , and some may not even have lives. Angel wanted to help.
She wrote a letter to the Fresno Bee and asked people to donate 1 dollar to the zoo.
Soon after the letter was published 1 dollar donate"s come in and soon there was a 1,000 dollar donation.
