A little reminder:

Jennie's POV mostly in this book.

Also, it's not going to be a daily update as I'm busy with assignment, classes, and University's stuff.

Well it depends, btw I'm gonna update only in the weekends.

Tossing to the left, Jennie threw her arms only to fall on nothing.

‘She is on the right.’ Jennie sleepily grinned to that thought and happily flipped her whole figure to the right.

Once again, she threw her arms in hoping to engulf to that warm body that she has been craving for days now.

And again, Jennie's arms fell flat on nothing. She released a shaky sigh.

This simply brought pain to Jennie's heart, honestly, never in their marriage she initiates the hug.

It was always Lisa.

Day fours, Jennie couldn't sleep a wink to any of those days. She went to the office with dark circles, big eye bags, bare face and a mind that mostly occupied by the thought of her cute ex-wife.

“I'm going crazy...” Jennie mumbled to herself, later on, she could feel tears welled up in her eyes.

“...Lisayah...I miss you....” She held close the thick duvet against her chest, there was a certain spot where it has the remaining of Lisa's addicting scent.

Jennie took a deep breath to that scent, deep down wishing the owner of that minty vanilla scent was here.

The scent also soon going to go away too.

Jennie had enough with this, she really needs to sleep since it began to show nasty effect towards her daily life—Towards her job.

She craved for Lisa so badly until at the point she got mad, she was lecturing herself for having such mountain ego and stupid pride.

Jennie yearned for Lisa's voice, face, warmth and every single detail things.

The woman fought with herself to call her ex-wife. She wondered what was Lisa doing? Does she eat well?

The thought of Lisa can't cook enough to make Jennie panic, she needs a proper meal.

Who is going to cook Lisa her favourite kimchi fried rice and gamjatang now?

Of course Lisa could do take out or simply ravishing the food at any restaurant that she pleases, but...

...but Lisa loves my kimchi fried rice and gamjatang...

Jennie didn't call Lisa—Her wonderful egoist won.

‘You cut all connection with your ex-wife after the divorce right??’

Eventually, Jennie found herself arrived at the pharmacy store approximately at one o'clock in the morning.

Right after she purchased the good amount of sleeping pill, she ended up standing before the convenience store located just across to the pharmacy.

Jennie's eyes widened in a split second once she found a certain tall brunette behind the glasses wall of the store—eating ramen and a can of coca-cola.

Lisa was still in her dashing office attire.

‘What is she eating?! Seriously in the middle of the night?!’

Put that aside, Jennie couldn't help it but felt her chest almost explode in both surprise and overwhelming feelings.

“...Lisa....” A smile crept onto her lips, even the way Lisa eating her ramen got Jennie's heart fluttered like a hopeless romantic teenager.

From afar, Jennie silently adored Lisa finished her improper meal. She watched Lisa dazed out through the glasses wall with dull, gloomy eyes.

She was seemed to be in a deep thought, sometimes, Lisa took a sip of her coca-cola, then ruffled her hair in distress. Sipped her coca-cola again and continued to mess her hair.

Lisa wasn't less bad as Jennie—They both were miserable.

This caused Jennie's heart to swell up, you have no idea how bad Jennie wanted to run towards her ex-wife and hugged her until the very morning.

Without a doubt, that wasn't happening.

Somethings shiny around Lisa's finger caught Jennie's eyes—It was the wedding ring.

Warmth embraces Jennie's heart knowing that Lisa didn't take it off.

Still, pain also stabbed her heart at the same time. It was the pain of regret for letting a precious woman like Lisa walk away from her life.

If only Jennie didn't being stupid, they probably snuggled up on their comfy bed.

If only Jennie didn't being stupid, Lisa would eat a delicious proper meal.

If only Jennie didn't being stupid, they are still together now.

The bubble of Jennie's thought interrupted by the sight of Lisa walked out of the store, also with plenty of junk foods and drink in her hands.

In a genuine panic, Jennie squeezed her petite body behind the corner of the wall—observing Lisa trudged towards her car.

Waste no time, Jennie tailed behind.

_______________

Lisa's address was well-known by Jennie, but the actual place yet to be seen. Jennie considered this as the golden opportunity to know where her adorable ex-wife settles down.

As soon as Lisa entered her room, she wasted no time stripping down her office attire and jumped on the bed—dove under the black blanket.

It felt so good to let the fluffy material hugged her bare skin.

She missed Jennie...and she pretty sure that Jennie is doing just fine right now and continued her life.

Lisa wished she could erase the images of Jennie out of her mind, it was difficult since she spent a year with that woman.

It was very difficult.

‘Do I really that annoying until at the point she really wanted to get rid of me out of her life?’

Lisa let out a deep sigh.

After a moment of painful silence, Lisa climbed out of the bed and decided to take a long warm, shower.

Soon, with ached heart, she got back to the lonely bed and tightly embraced the bolster, imagining it as her ex-wife that for sure will never be hers.

When the days pass, Jennie surely would eventually found her soulmate and that soulmate will hold her close like this.

The thought of it made Lisa restless the whole night.

Whether she hates it or certainly not going to like it, she has to take the reality with open arms.

And be with Lisa.

Jennie clenched the bolster, completely imagining the fluffy object as her ex-wife.

“No...” Jennie shook her head against the bolster “...please don't fall out of love from me....p-please don't find another woman...”

She sobbed harder.
