ANIMAL CROSSING ONESHOTS!!!!

Letters ~ Zell x Sylvia

(I have these two in my town right now and I think they're lowkey into each other) 

'Y/N! Come here real quick, Boing!' The purple kangaroo's voice rang through your ears. Putting away your fishing rod, you skipped over to where she was standing next to the pear tree. 

'Hey, what's up, Sylvia?' 

'Do you like my outfit today, Y/N?' She asked before spinning around cheerfully. 

You looked up and down at her. 'Is this another attempt to impress you-know-who, Sylvia?' You wiggled your (e/c) eyebrows. 

The kangaroo's cheeks flushed before she eyed down at her green gingham outfit. 

'W-WHAT?! I don't know what you're talking about!' Sweat was now visible on her skin. She was clearly uncomfortable. 

'That goat who lives just over the river?' You gestured toward's Zell's house. There was smoke coming from the star-shaped chimney, suggesting he was in his house. 

You turned back to Sylvia, whose head was now in her hands in embarrassment. You knew it was true. She liked Zell. 

'He's a complete BELL HOARDER!' She exclaimed. 'Why would I like him?! He makes up rumors and stuff—'

'But Sylvia we've talked about this. The whole bell hoarder thing was just a rumor too.' You said, now feeling bad that you'd upset your friend.

Later that night, you still felt guilty about the altercation with Sylvia. You wanted to make this up to her. You knew she liked Zell, but the only problem was that Zell seemed to be a complete tsundere when it came to girls, and therefore it was impossible to tell if he reciprocated it. You decided to go and find out. 

Knock knock. 

'Come in, pronk!' Zell's nasally voice echoed from the other side of the door. You entered his home, stacked with expensive furniture, such as items from the Graciegrace gorgeous collection and even a billiard table.

Wow, you thought to yourself. Sylvia was certainly right about the bell hoarder thing. 

'Oh, hey, Y/N.' Zell said. However, he didn't seem like himself. His exuberant nature had somehow been replaced with shyness. 

'Zell, you seem kinda distant. What's going on? Did I come at a bad time?' You asked. 

'No, no, Y/N! You came at exactly the right time! I've got a little problem. You see, I got this box for Sylvia but I'm way too shy to deliver it, pronk! Do you think you could help me out?'

'Sure.' Y/N nodded. 'But why do you seem so worked up about it?'

The black-and-white goat scratched the back of his head. 'Ummm, maybe you'll find out. You'd better hurry, the day is ending soon.'

'Sylvia, Zell wanted me to give you this present as he was too shy to deliver it himself. Something seemed off with him, too. Like there was something on his mind.'

Sylvia raised one eyebrow. 'Oh? What do you think it is?'

'Your answer may lie in this box.' You handed it to her. She opened the carefully-wrapped present, and before it was fully open, an envelope fell out. You watched as Sylvia opened the envelope before peering over her shoulder. The letter read:

'Dear Sylvia,

I'm sorry if we don't get along at the best of times. I know you think I'm a bell hoarder. And I'm not perfect. But you are perfect in my eyes. I've been crushing on you since I moved to (Towns/Name) but I was too shy to say anything. I bought all this furniture to try to impress you, it's not that I'm a bell hoarder or anything, pronk! But yeah, I hope you enjoy your present. Haha, I'm really trying to ask you to be my girlfriend, Sylvia. If you accept, please meet me outside the town hall at 10pm tonight. And make sure you wear the present I sent!

Maybe I'll see you there!

Zell 

Sylvia and you gasped in unison before she started jumping up and down in excitement. 

'I've got a date, Y/N! Thank you so much for delivering this! Now to open this present.'

You helped Sylvia tear off the rest of the wrapping paper to reveal a beautiful sparkling outfit. 

'Wow, it's so you!' You gasped. 'I guess he knows you pretty well, huh?'

'Better than I thought!' Sylvia did a somersault in the air and was now wearing the new outfit. 

'How do I look?' 

'You look magnificent!'

10pm soon came. You lead the way to the townhall, only to see Zell standing there modestly. He looked so nervous. Sylvia was close behind you. You pointed to Zell, and she gave you a quick nod before heading over to where he was standing. His eyes instantly lit up when he saw her.

'Hey, I didn't think you'd come.' He said. 'You look... um... amazing...' he was blushing. You smiled to yourself, this was so cute!

'Thank you Zell! I had no idea you liked me too!' Sylvia's smile was equally as bright as the stars, which caused Zell to smile too. 

'Sylvia, will you be my girlfriend please?' A hopeful Zell asked, gazing into the kangaroo's eyes. 

'Of course Zell! I would love to!'

'Haha, thanks for accepting me, Sylvia! But please don't tell anyone that I'm a bell hoarder!'

'Your secret is safe with me, and Y/N!' Sylvia looked over to where you stood and winked before walking off with Zell hand-in-hand.
