'Good morning everyone!' Isabelle's loud, distinctive voice echoed throughout the island. 'Right now on (Island) it is 6:04pm on 18th May 2020. Now for today's announcements, tomorrow we bid a farewell to our good friend Whitney. We wish her luck on her next big adventure.'

Your heart sank. Whitney was one of your best friends, despite the fact you had persuaded her to leave. Deep down you wanted her to stay, as she was the first person you confided in about your sexuality. She didn't judge or laugh, she just listened to you as you cried all night. And now, it was really sad to see her go.

As you ran towards Whitney's house to say one final goodbye, a lot of questions flooded your mind: Who will replace her? Will this new villager be as nice as she was? Will they accept my sexuality the way she did? Who knows.

When you finally arrived at Whitney's place, all of her stuff was packed into cardboard boxes. This classy room, once full of life, now seemed empty and dull.

'Y/N! Hi! Come in! Thank you so much for helping me make up my mind amidst all those doubts the other day. I'm so lucky to have had the pleasure of being your best friend whilst here, snappy.'

'Oh Whitney!' You began sobbing, and she immediately wrapped you in her white furry (arms? Do wolves have arms?)

'Shhh, it's okay. You'll do just fine here. You have plenty of friends, and who knows, maybe the newcomer will be even more friendly than me? However I doubt they'll be more stylish,'

This made you laugh a little. It was sad to say goodbye to Whitney, but you knew you had to. It was in everyone's best interests.

~ Two days later ~

You were walking past Whitney's old plot of land, which was now of course vacant, however you noticed a 'Sold' stamp over where the plot was. Oh, you thought. Let's go check out who bought this.

You read the fine print: 'This spot is reserved for Judy's new home'.

Hmm, you thought before continuing your island rep duties.

Before knocking on the door, you took a deep breath. Then, you swung open the door and entered. When you got inside, you internally gasped as your eyes met with the cutest bear cub you'd ever seen!

Her huge eyes were twinkly and bright, and she had the most beautiful pastel pink and blue fur (my gay ass thought it was like the bisexual flag).

'Hello, my name is Judy. Are you a resident here, myohmy?'

You blushed at her equally adorable catchphrase and soft voice. 'Y-yes actually, I'm actually, the, Uh... resident representative here on (Island). My name is Y/N,' You had never stuttered this much before in your life.

Judy stepped closer to you. 'Well it's so nice of you to come and introduce yourself. So far you're my first visitor, myohmy.'

You raised your eyebrows. 'Wow, really?'

Judy laughed a little. 'Don't act so surprised. Also, may I just say I think your hair is very beautiful.'

She lifted up her paw and touched your (color) hair softly.

Wow... you thought. 'Thanks Judy, I love your... Uh... eyes and your... fur color....'

You realised you weren't making anything less awkward. So you decided to leave for now. 'Well Judy, it was a pleasure to meet you, but I guess I'll see you around?'

'Come and visit me tomorrow please, Y/N,' she almost begged.

You were a little taken aback by her eagerness. 'S-sure. Thanks, I'm sure you'll love it here on (Island. If you need anything, just let me know.'

'Don't worry, I sure will.' She said with a wink. Damn, you thought. You had never had this much chemistry with someone after just meeting them.

After you left Judy's house, your thoughts were spinning. But you smiled to yourself, as you knew that this was going to be the start of something amazing.
