The annual prom was coming up, and [Oc] and a group of their friends, including (Crush), all go to the mall in search for their dresses and/or tuxes.

The annual prom was coming up for [insert school]. Everyone was excited, in fact (2nd Crush) had decided to ask [Oc], and s/he happily accepted! The night of the dance came around s/he stood by the door an hour waiting for them. And in the end they never came. [OC] sighed, s/he was about to leave before (Crush), a friend of theirs, invited her/him to come dance with them.
